Outside latch gets stuck and cannot open door
Inside door knob only turns clockwise to open the door. The adjustable latch has 2 settings: 2-3/8" or 2-3/4". I have mine set to 2-3/4". Removed the exterior door handle and reseated it.Still stuck. I noticed that if I moved the setting to 2-3/8" the outside door latch works fine (tested it without installing it in the door), but when I move the setting to 2-3/4" it moved the latch halfway.

Looked nice but not good
I bought this 10 months ago and have had latch problems on both dead bolt and entry latch,would not recommend this unit at any price.

waste of money
We installed this unit and within days found it to be problematic. So I returned it to the store and got a replacement but have the same problem. Sometimes the latchbolt does not move when you turn the knob (in either direction). Then all of a sudden it will work. And then not. It is very frustrating and I expect to replace it with a Weiser or some other make. I do not recommend this set.

Not Durable
I purchased this about an year before because of the price. Now the handle know won’t turn and while trying to fix it, I fond that a very small spring hook is broke. Looks like a cheap/ tiny part this controls the push liver from outside, which we use so many times/day. Not sure why such a small spring controls it !!

Installed this unit and it seemed to work ok as long as you turn the inside knob clockwise. Once you turn it counter clockwise it jammed and wouldn't release. I had to tap it with a hammer to release the spindle from the latch. Thought maybe it was defective so I purchased another one and it was the same problem. Tried to contact Mecanair for help but was put on hold for 37min then the line disconnected. That happened 3 times so I returned the unit. Bought a Wieser lockset and it works great.
