About 75% grew
This review is for Promix Ultimate. Purchased end of April 2020. Over top of existing lawn that had been mechanically de-mossed/de-thatched (mostly), had laid down top dressing (50% sand, ~30% manure, ~20% composted) four weeks prior. Laid down seed and lightly raked it into the topdressing. Full germination of seed took a long time - about 3-4 weeks with average 22C deg days, with most areas being part shade and watering done 3 times per day.
The new grass looks good and is growing fast. This is not a grass mix that will produce a putting green, with fine blades.
One thing to remember with grass is that small bare spots will often fill in over time, if the soil is decent, and particularly if there are creeping fescues grass. Also remember, any medium to large patches will likely become weed areas if you do not have grass planted. Clover will eventually show up -- I let it be (the honey bees do like the flowers).

Poor results on bare spots.
Bought this bag at Rona during Spring 2020. I already dethatched and aerated late April. On May 1st, I started grass seeding and applying a thin layer of top soil when temperatures were on the rise 10 to 15 degrees. After 4.5 weeks and constantly watering for 10 to 15 minutes two to three times a day with consistently similar temperatures (around 12 to 15 degrees), about 50% of the bare spot was filled, the remainder of the bare spot didn't grow. I generously applied grass seed to small bare areas (total around 200 sqr ft). There was better growth in areas that did have grass already.
