Description
This set from Makita includes 2 cordless tools with 3 lithium-ion batteries, 1 charger and 1 carrying case. These tools get the job done in half the time. The driver drill rotates at 400-1300 RPM, and is equipped with a 16-torque setting. The gear is made entirely of metal for a more efficient power transmission. The impact driver can rotate at up to 2900 RPM and delivers a max torque of 1460 lb.

Solid tools.
Had this for about 18 months. Good batteries, rugged design(I have dropped them a few times on to the concrete floor. Smooth motors with very low vibration and fits very comfortably in my hand. (Smaller hands) I have had probelms with some US brands being overly large on the handle. The makita being just a little slimmer on the handle and button position makes it easier to reach the for/rev switch vs my dewalt XR and ridgid brushless. My only complaint is the plastic chuck because of rubbing on metal . I work in a manufacturing setting and we are hard on the tools. Plastic chuck is lighter, but less durable. This set has been very reliable so far. I would recommend as someone that works in an industrial setting using them most of our 55+ hours a week.

Amazing impact driver! (Drill is meh)
Ivan had this for almost 3 years now, and have dropped the impact from scaffolding 3 stories up. Still works like new! I frequently get several days of use out of a single battery, and even with heavy use can go all day on a charge. This impact really is one of my favourite tools, and it’s not even brushless. Amazing. The drill is pretty underwhelming, absolutely not the same level as the impact. 3 batteries is great though! I work in carpentry and use the impact heavily. I like it better than any other impact I’ve ever tried!

Very cheap batteries
I bought this set a year ago and now 2 of the batteries wont charge, these batteries are not well made and after looking on line I see that thousands of people have the same issue. I would not recommend this set to anyone. Better pay a few dollars more and buy a better brand .
I have never made a product review before , but I really thought I must tell everyone about these lousy batteries.
