Good Fan, but not for cathedral ceilings...
I bought 2 of these, one for the master bedroom and another for the living room (which has cathedral ceilings). The master bedroom fan works great, however as for the living room, the shaft that comes with the fan does not fit a cathedral ceiling AND like the previous comment, the glass was broken when the electrician opened the box to retrieve the parts. So I would assume this is a common problem for this specific brand. Anyway, I went back to Rona to get an extended shaft but they do not carry the correct size of shaft (or the right colour) so I am obligated to go get the correct shaft at another store. Kind of annoying.

Caution!
We bought tow of these fans for our bedrooms because they look nice and can be flush mounted. Assembly was easy and the installation was straightforward and the first one went fine but when I pulled the chain to turn on the second one for the first time, the glass shattered and slashed my wrist as it fell down! This made a mess of blood on the new carpet and we spent the rest of the day waiting to have sutures put in to close the cut up. Now we have stains on the carpet and a fan with no glass covering the light bulbs but I thankful this didn't happen to one of the kids as they would have been standing right underneath the fan when the glass shattered and came down!
Nice looking fan and easy to install, be but careful around it!
