My new investment in portability.
So far so good. I purchased this model to replace a back pack blower. Mainly because I have to use a cane to walk. I will give this baby a shot with an open mind. The EGO has its chores cut out for it. A thumbs up so far.

Received as a gift
Received this as a gift, so can only comment on the product/use. The battery charges quickly and holds (so far). The unit has a number of handles and balances well. The only strike I might give here is it is a little bit heavy for prolonged use. On its max setting it is extremely powerful, almost to the point of jumping out of the hand - this I like because it helps get the job done more quickly. That being said there is an "always on" toggle switch with multiple power levels and a turbo switch if there is something stubborn to blow away. For those looking to blow lawn clippings or the occasional leaf off a sidewalk, maybe go with smaller CFM unit. Mine came with two interchangeable blower tips and a neck strap (much needed for prolonged use). All in all, impressed with this blower.

Outstanding performance
Really enjoy using this blower. There is a lot of power available on demand. I didn't really need a blower this powerful, but it will come handy during fall season with wet leaves. I'm also using this to dry the car. Dries the car much faster and better. Only thing I would suggest Ego to do is to use a closed-loop control on the battery output. Peak power will drop, but the average power will be higher for the life of the battery. Battery would also last more . I still highly recommend this blower for home owners.

Strong air flow and decent charge life.
Very good air flow with good ergonomic balance. I also have the string trimmer. Both are powerful have reasonable working charge time. The blower battery seems to be a bit more powerful. When working in the heat, the batteries have to cool down before recharging but the internal circuits sense when it's safe and begin the charge cycle. Glad to be free of ICE tools and electric cords.
