Description
The 4-1/2-inch small angle hand grinder kit by DEWALT features three powerful systems for maximizing performance such as the Dust Ejection System(TM) for preventing damaging dust from entering the grinder tool, the One-Touch(TM) guard for 360-degree rotation, and the Quick-Change(TM) wheel release for easy wheel removal. The 11-amp AC/DC 11,000 rpm motor is designed for faster material removal and higher overload and the low-profile gear allows access into tight spaces. It features a paddle switch with a safety lock off to prevent accidental start up and a 2-positionn side handle.

Easy to work with
Just got it, today, but I already like it, A LOT. Easy to work with. Does the job. Not overly loud. This is not a long term review, of course, but as of right this minute, it does exactly what I wanted from it. Thank you.

Stout as heck
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought about a year ago use it mostly for cutoff wheels it's super powerful doesn't bog and hasn't fried like solve competitors grinders have in less time

It works
I bought this grinder to take about a quarter inch off the top of a concrete base for a 3' x 5' granite front step. That is a significant amount of grinding. I used one of the DeWalt diamond grinding wheels and had no problems. I was a bit concerned that the grinder would ingest the cement dust and croak on me, but it seems to have suffered no ill effects. I did set up a big fan to blow the dust away as much as possible.
So it's a good grinder. What didn't I like? I wish the spindle lock button was easier to engage. I find it difficult to engage, especially with gloves on. I'd like to be able to "lock the lock" so both hands could be free. That would probably require an interlock with the power switch so one coudln't turn it on with the spindle locked, but that should be possible.
