Vacumm is not sufficient for most jobs
I like the way this product handles. I use the vacuum the most. But it is dissapointing that the suction power only picks up very small leaves and not larger leaves. It is constantly getting clogged. I don't understand wy B&D cannot make a coordless vacuum with more suction and a higher mulch ratio.

One of the most useful tools I have ever bought.
I bought it for the vacuum function and it works great. I use it to suck up the leaves from our rock garden and the pine needles on our concrete driveway and patio. With a little reshaping of the tube end using a heat gun, it now fits into my roof gutters for easy removal of the dried needles and leaves. The battery charge lasts about 30 minutes if you run the vacuum at full power so you might want to get a second battery but that's to be expected. Overall it's worth every dollar spent and makes your job much easier and your back will thank you!

Great for picking up shed dog hair
I purchased this unit for the specific purpose of having a cordless vac I can use in my house to pick up dog hair from hardwood and tile flooring. It works! My regular corded vacuum is heavy and awkward, and my Ryobi battery powered mini-vac would get clogged quickly with hair. After charging the battery and assembling this unit, I was able to do the whole place in less time than I've been spending sweeping up clumps of dog hair. The adjustable power setting on the lowest (1) worked just fine for this purpose. It's loud and unusual, I know, but for my purposes, it works great. And, I can also use it as a blower outside on the deck and patio areas.

Works great when the battery works properly. we did have a problem with the battery not working and black and decker changed it out under warranty. it's great because its not as powerful as most blowers so i can control it enough to do what i need to do to blow off pool deck without getting everything in the pool. i did blow some leaves and it took longer but that's ok i knew it was only a sweeper blower but it did work. i think the battery doesn't work right though. they exchanged it for a 2 amp battery. i like the sweeper.
