Broken spring
I bought this trash can basically for the cover but one of the springs popped out, most likely fell into the trash bag & now the other spring popped out also. Is there a way to order a replacement cover? If not, I’ll need to purchase another trash can & it most likely will NOT be Rubbermaid.

I liked the design
I bought the smaller one about 2 months ago and one of the springs on the lid popped off and it must have fell into the garbage. I didn't realize it until it was too late and I had already thrown out the bag. Is there any way to order a new lid? I know it is supposed to have a 1 year warranty but I no longer have the bill.

Lid Spring broke
I have this trash can a little over a year and the spring on the lid broke. Bought this can to keep the dog out off the trash and now it doesn’t work for that anymore.

Issues with the Spring on Lid
This container is perfect for keeping our dog food fresh. We only open it twice a day and yet the spring broke. Now it defeats the purpose of easy access to the food. Based on the common issues with other customers, there seems to be a defect in the lid. Maybe the company should consider redesigning the lid. Is there some way we can get a replacement lid?

Springs broke
I bought two waste cans and both have the same problem. They are sturdy but once the spring broke the lid is difficult to open. Basically it is useless for the bathroom. I can remove the lid and use it as a recycling bin but that is not why I bought it.

Poor lid closure design
This is the second waste can of the same model that I purchased. The springs used to flip the can open have broken on both cans after several months use. I like the concept but the can is a throw away once a spring breaks.

Broken lid
