Use ShopSmith sanding discs for smoothing wood surfaces. With a film backing, the 5-in discs last four times longer than traditional sanding discs. Their 80-grit surface made out of aluminum oxide offers coarse removal. Compatible with 8-hole oscillating sanders, they have a Velcro backing for extra stability during use.
