The decorative profile on this trim hides the unfinished edges around the door and window moulding frames. Its medium-density fibreboard (MDF) component lets you secure it to walls without splitting or cracking the board. With MDF construction, it won't warp or twist to help minimize installation problems. With a soft surface, this casing protects the wall around doorways from impact damage. It helps keep warm air inside the home and seal out cold air during the winter months. This primed MDF casing is ready-to-paint to allow you to match its colour with other trims.
