Sand is soaking wet !
I bought this sand and told it is kiln dried.
Got home and opened bag. It is soaking wet !
Maybe I got this wrong but is “kiln dried sand” not supposed to be dry when you buy it? I guess I should have saved my time and went outside and scooped sand from a local beach.

Soaking wet kiln dried sand
Specifically bought kiln dried sand for an application that needed the sand to be dry and flow freely. This kiln dried sand is soaking wet.
Called the store and feedback from customer service was they store this outside and because it rained it’s now wet. Seriously.
I’m sure if the bags are stored properly this product is fine (sand did seem to be clean and sifted) but, storing the bags outside is ridiculous and 100% defeats the purpose of buying kiln dried.

Hard to give a bad rating for sand...
I’d be totally fine giving this purchase 5 stars, but the bags given to me were all soaking wet sand. I don’t know if they stored these out in the snow/rain, but the bag says ‘dried sand’ right on it, so it seems like kind of a no-brainer not to sell it wet. Now I have to wait until the spring/summer to lay 200lbs of sand out on a tarp to dry out because I need it to be dry. Goofy move, Rona. Last purchase for me, ya blew it.
