Inferior to the previous generation
I'm disappointed with the design of these. The base and shield are the same as the previous generation utilizing
CFL's, but the LED lamp module has it's chips mounted flatly, so almost all of the light is directed downwards.
These keyless utility lights use to be my go-to for areas with extremely low headspace and places where an
unprotected conventional keyless socket would be susceptible to damage. I was hoping to have the excellent cold
weather performance of LED combined with a cost effective, impact resistant design they already had, but the LED
version doesn't provide as much area lighting.
