Are the coils hidden in the unit, or are they exposed and in between each shelf?
I found a picture in another web site and yes there are coils where the basket sits. The coils are exposed in each shelf

Drawers are perfect for me!
This is precisely what I needed to supplement my fridge/feeezer. It is the perfect size for me, love the drawers instead of shelves.

Great little freezer
This is an awesome small upright freezer. I just love the fact that it has drawers on each shelf, food doesn't move around and it can't slide out when you open the doors. You can also get more food in this freezer compared to the upright freezers without drawers. I can speak from experience as my first small upright freezer just had shelves so I had to limit how high I piled meat, etc. Very good value for the price and delivery was exceptional, received within a few days. Highly recommend this freezer if you are looking for something that will work for a smaller household.

orchids from a very satisfied customer.
I love the little freezer because it opens in the front, the bins are deep enough to hold larger items, it takes up very little space, it was delivered promptly and with no charge even though we live on a small gulf island. Price was right , too.
