Just purchased, so I can't say anything about durability. It seems to work well though the publicity for cutting ¾ in diameter seems a little exaggerated. Biggest problem was finding a manual, nothing in the box and no information on the box as to where to find one. The battery doesn't seem to last to long, especially when doing heavy work. It can be dangerous, yet there is no information on the dangers of this tool (cutting fingers…), so caution and strong good sense must be used. The operator needs to be responsible and take the time to think things through. I would also appreciate having a protective case to put over the blade for transporting and storage. Extra caution must be used when moving it around and storing.

Exceeded my expectation at this price point
I got this trimmer half price expecting it would at least handle some medium load work. Works as promised - handles every branch 3/4 inches or below (though you'd have to give it a swing for some thicker branches). Although the battery is a 1.5ah, it lasted me through a day of intense trimming.

Lasts longer than I do!
I bought this last year to trim up some Forsythia. I liked it so well, I continued down the driveway trimming all the trees and shrubs for an hour. I was exhausted but the battery was still strong.

Solid unit - good price - highly rated
Purchased because it was noted as the best bang for the buck of the moderately priced cordless hedge trimmers.
Unit cuts well, is light and easy to handle compared to gas units.
Just two issues: (1) has no guard for the blades (2) came with a very weak charger that takes 3.5 hours for a full charge
