Description
If you cannot have a real fireplace at home, try this electric media one, the Brookfield model, which offers several interesting features. It has shelves and cabinets which makes it very useful. Also, with the realistic flames feature comes a heating function (which can be turned off). Brightness and temperature are adjustable when using the remote control.

Good but came damaged
This is a really nice unit and will serve me well for quite a while. Sturdy and solid with lots of room. The fireplace is nice though I wish I had a bit more control over it.
Unfortunately, Puro initially lots the 3rd box and I had to place a trace on it which was found and delivered.
More so, the bottom of hte until came damaged. There is a huge gash in it which mostly under where the fireplace sits. Whomever at the factory or whereever did attempt to cover this with a stain or paint and after installing everything the stain comes out in front fo the fireplace a couple of inches. It's annoying and noticable and deters from the whole thing.
As of right now it has been 2-3 days since notifying Rona Customer Service about this via email with no response.
Also, if you're not a handy person the back panel is screwed into place which is great but there are no pre-drilled pilot holes which is needed. The screws will not go in (easily) with out them.
