Goal zero lighthouse
These are great lights and power blocks to boot. I have bought 4 now for myself and friends and family. I always have one in my camper shell area when car camping.

On/Off switch is difficult to use
I purchased the Lighthouse Micro Flash for night photography based on a recommendation by a photographer. While the light has all of the features advertised I found that when switched on, the light is at it's maximum power. Which interferes with a persons night vision. Dimming the light requires using the (difficult to use) on/off switch. Changing the lighting mode also requires using the difficult to use on/off switch and you get the blasted maximum power again. With the exception of the on/off switch, it might be a nice small light for using it for purposes other than what I purchased it for.

Best USB Rechargeable Flashlight ever
I bought it a year ago this month and this flash light/lantern has been excellent. The charge lasts quite a long time, very short time to charge the built-in battery and it just runs forever on a charge. For the price you just can't go wrong. I just wish that I could rate it higher than 5 stars.

Lasts Far Longer than Specs
Purchased two of these Goal Zero Lighthouse Micro Flash Lights -- and I'm definitely impressed. They worked great on my last backpacking trip, casting more than enough light in the tent. But that's not why I'm so impressed. Here's the real reason why I'm posting this comment: Two weeks ago, I wanted to test just how long a fully charged Goal Zero Lighthouse Micro Flash would last. The specs say that it should last (fully dimmed, in lantern mode) approximately 170 hours. Well, guess what? It lasted 11 days -- or approximately 264 hours. Now, admittedly, I left it on inside of my home where the average temp was probably always above 65 degrees. But still, I was amazed at how it performed -- producing light for nearly 100 hours MORE than the specs. Probably the best $$$ I've ever spent

What I was looking for!
So far my use at night is very satisfactory, however I'm waiting for an upcoming camping trip where it WILL be put to my tests. Had a different tent lamp, but was a disappointment.

great light
Nice and bright. Weighs nothing. Durably well built. Charges up quickly. Has different modes that are really useful. Flashlight is good for small chores /errands. Lantern has a half-bright mode that shuts off the lights on one side so it doesn't shine in your eyes. I use this everyday, and love it. Surprised at how nice it is for the price. Getting another to keep in the car. Good work GZ!

Blindingly Bright
For a small light, it's incredibly bright. In fact, too bright to have above eye level because the LEDs aim straight out. I'm not sure why they bothered with the hanger. The LEDs are dimmable, but it is difficult to do because the button wasn't implemented well, and it seems like the only option is to turn it on full bright and then dim it, which, again, is blinding. I gave it two stars because it seems like it would be really convenient packaging for a light if the engineering behind it was a bit better, but I can't think of a situation where I would use it.
