Problem rectified
Left a review about my difficulty with the sanding pads not adhering to the sanding platen last month. Have to say, Craftsman stood by its product and replaced the faulty sanding pads without a fuss. Very impressed with their customer service on this one.

Good…but
Worked great cutting away some tile and carving square holes in peg board. But then I used it to sand a piece of plywood and the sanding pad fell off in 30 seconds. Put it back on—fell off again. Tried multiple different settings—same thing. Different sanding pad—still fell off. Nothing seems wrong with the sanding platen—it holds other sand paper I have (that are the wrong shape). But the pads that came with my tool appear to be completely incompatible.

Excellent despite being noisy.
This OMT has been quite the little gem. So much so I haven't really considered upgrading to the brushless model. Unless someone shows me that one is whisper quiet, lol. That being said, as long as you have a good QUALITY blade on it, this tool will perform whatever task you set for it.

Very disappointed. I unboxed it, put a fresh battery on it as I have many other craftsman tools and it just gives a high pitch beeping.

An easy to use tool.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oscillating multi tool has so many uses, and the V20 unit is handy in that it has the Stanley tool free system ( Dewalt, Porter Cable, Black and Decker ) that allows one to simply squeeze and change accessories. The oscillating angle could be more aggressive, and a brushless version with a more aggressive oscillating angle would be super nice. However, the tool is light, easy to use, and works well enough for almost any DIY use. As with my other V20 tools, the value and quality are reasonably balanced. All in all, the ease of accessory changes allows you to use a large variety of blades. The handle is ergonomic enough to be used by most people, comfortably.

Powerful and ergonomic
