Best Christmas tree stand on the planet
I purchased this stand several years ago after seeing it on TV. As a single parent who had to wrestle with ties and hidden braces to keep the tree upright over Xmas, this thing was a miracle. Easy to assemble, easy to use, the wide feet keep the tree stable, even with 8-ft-+ full fir trees or when a cat worms its way up into the branches. Other than the clamps getting sticky w tree sap, which can be cleaned off with cooking oil or similar, the stand is like new. I'm glad to see Omega also offers replacement clamps if needed, but so far they're good. As far as watering goes, I tip in fresh water daily as the tree needs it, (& this slows down as the tree draws up less water as it dies). This stand is far superior to other products with the wobbly screws & questionable stability. It's well worth the investment for years of reliable service. I enthusiastically recommend the Omega, and bought a second one for a family member.
