Great replacement
While shopping/purchasing this shredder, I was concerned because I did not find many customer reviews. I was influenced somewhat when I read patent pending or other wording that said intelliBar patented responsive technology. I figured/hoped that meant it was something special.
There was no assembly required, just take it out of the box and begin.
I had saved copies of tax returns from day one and spent a portion of 2-3 days filling five 30-gallon trash bags with attachments to the returns. I didn’t experience any jams but there were times it backed pages out saying too many were inserted. Because some pages were heavier and many were paper clipped together, I did find inserting 9-10 at a time saved me time.

So far so good
Have only had this about a week, which is why I gave mostly 4 stars -vs- 5. So far it works well, no jams. The indicators are so intuitive you barely need to read the instructions or see the video on how it works. It's a little slower than my older Fellowes cross cut model, but you can shred more at one time. A big plus is that it's quieter. Love the indicator that tells you when the bin is almost full.

Shredder is very quiet and is easy to use. Would buy another Fellowes product again!
