Hi - I am concerned about the California cancer warning, but yet it is sold in Canada. Would it be ok in an 8 foot ceiling bedroom? It would be above the bed?what would clearance be to the floor.Room is 11' x 11'.
Just because you see a Proposition 65 warning doesn't mean the product will harm you. “The lowest level that would trigger a warning wouldn't necessarily affect most people,” Wells said. “But if a person is especially susceptible to reproductive harms or birth defects or cancer, they might want to avoid that. the fan should be okay in an 8-foot ceiling.

Great deal and looks pretty
I love this ceiling fan. It looks more like a fancy light than a typical ceiling fan. The crystals are so pretty, its quiet, has a remote, gives good light when on. So glad I purchased this item.
