Desk job from
I stained an old small desk
I have had this poly and stain for a few years, unopened. It had been used once but there was plenty left in it. It was hammered down. I sanded the old desk and wiped it clean then I had a bristle brush and stained it all over the top. It has metal legs. It will not seem to dry. What is wrong? I/ve given it another coat as it seemed quite a bit dry in the evening, I'll see how it looks in the morning but it seems sticky to touch.
