Quick Failure, Twice!
I bought this product and 4 months later it wouldn't pull any liquid from the air no matter what setting I tried. The company won't repair it even under warranty but Rona did replace it and then the second one they gave my broke in another few months with the same issue. Very *very* frustrating. Sincerely would not recommend risking this product purchase.

Worked well for 2 summers, then died an E9 death
The true measure of a product's quality is not how it behaves when you first plug it in, but over time. To this end, this machine worked great for two summers and died in summer 3...just after the limited warranty expired. It produced the fatal (and infamous) E9 error code, which indicates a humidity sensor issue. I reached out to Hisense support a month ago via their website's contact form, but haven't heard back.
If you plan to buy this product, you will likely need to replace (or somehow repair) it after two summers. The buying experience via Rona was awesome, as usual.

Don't waste your money.
Bought this 5 months ago and it has already quit working. It runs for a couple hours, not removing any moisture and then it quits and shows an E9 error.

My dehumidifier worked for a month. Then, it stopped working and displays the "E9" error code. The user manual does not help me understand what that means. I will have to call the service center.

Un bon complément au climatiseur.
Ce produit correspond à mes attentes. J'ai déjà deux climatiseurs qui enlèvent une partie de l'humidité et le déshumidificateur vient enlever un peu plus dans le logement (autour de 6-8% d'humidité dans la cuisine). En ayant un niveau d'humidité plus faible je peux ajuster les climatiseurs pour une température optimale de 24-27°C dans le logement (plus chaud et plus sec). Je compte l'utiliser dans la salle de bain durant l'hiver pour absorber l'humidité lorsque je prends une douche. En ce qui concerne le bruit, il ne faut pas être trop sensible parce qu'il est un peu bruyant. Il faut s'attendre à vider le réservoir 2-3 fois par jour durant l'été. Finalement, l'appareil dégage de la chaleur lorsqu'il est utilisé sur une longue période.
À l'intention de Hisense : Ça serait une bonne chose d'indiquer la capacité du réservoir en litres pour le marché canadien. Les unités de mesures en chopines et en pintes mélangent beaucoup de consommateurs.

I bought this about a month ago and at first it did a really good job and the tank needed to be emptied twice a day. I haven't had any water in the tank for two weeks now. I have checked all the components, and everything looks ok. Why isn't it pulling any moisture from the air?
