very attractive fixture
We were very pleased with this fixture. My husband found it very easy to install. As others have said, it sits closer to the ceiling than appears in the pictures.

Not as Pictured
I ordered a pair of these because I thought Pendent drops down. It does NOT Drop down as others have mentioned. The Nickel flange sits Flush to the ceiling. I was disappointed.
** Lowes. Correct your photo. **
The Drum is off white but the Diffuser is pure white. I'm okay with it.
** I modified the lamp so it now actually drops down 3".
I replaced the center rod with a 12" modified-Threaded lamp rod. I also added a 1/2 copper spacer. Now it looks liked the advertised photo.

Not quite as pictured
Overall, I''m happy with this light but it isn''t as pictured. As the other commenters have written, it''s more white than "ivory-white" and I wish I could see the down-rod and the nickle hardware at the ceiling. Standing on the floor and looking up you cannot see the down-rod at all (see my photo).

Not as expected
I was a bit disappointed in this light when it arrived, the shade was pure white not ivory. It was more like a flush fit light as the down-rod is very short and not really visible when fixed to the ceiling. I returned it to my local Lowe''s the next day for a refund.

Not as it looks...
...nice light BUT the picture is deceiving. It is called a ''semi flush'' mount and I had hoped to see a little more of the down rod. It sits almost flush to the ceiling, standing back you cannot see any of the brushed nickle hardware on the ceiling at all.

Light is white
This light is nice, given the price. However I thought the shade would be ivory, and it is pure white.
