very disappointing
I had this installed by a professional, who tried twice but the bar will not tighten so the tissue falls right off the loose holder. It looks good but is just not functional. I have had to order another holder and now have to wait 4-7 weeks to receive it.

For the price, very high quality - won't mount vertical
I'm giving this TP holder 5 stars, though for my use it did not work out. I wanted to use it as a verticle TP holder. There is a phillips screw in the base, that looks like you can remove and switch it to verticle. Nope! The screw it quite beefy, and while using maximum force while trying to remove it, (I had a wrench on the flats of the screwdriver bit) it sheared off. Now the threads go into the tube part of the holder and whatever they have in there to receive it is really strong. I guess in retro, I could have just angled the mounting screws in towards the wood stud. This is an old house with no backing in the walls.

Love this product!
This is a great addition to our master bathroom remodel! I love this toilet roll holder. It is so easy to replace rolls of tissue. The finish is lovely. My carpenter installed it with no problem. I would definitely recommend it!

Don't use the plugs that come with it.
The dry-wall plug that comes with this article is not working. We installed three items of the same series, and now have to remove the plugs, fix the holes in the wall and install the items with new plugs. The items themselves look great.
