AMAZING!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Who knew this little piece would be so great?! I asked my husband after he installed it, if it was easy, something I could have done, and he said absolutely! Didn't take long, and now we do not hear obnoxious noises every time someone showers or flushes the toilet!

Pressure off the pipes and I
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super happy to cross paths with an Oatley Quit Pipe Shock absorber.
Laundry shouldn't have you squinching your eyes. Listening to pipes hammering under unnecessary pressures. The last thing I need is a catastrophic failure in my basement. Although it took me forever to figure out where to install. Installation is super easy and I can now do my laundry worry-free.

Easy to install, seems to work
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shock absorber is very easy to install and seems to work to reduce the amount of water hammer when flushing my toilets. The plumber who helped me install this seemed to be happy with the quality.

Inexpensive way to save your pipes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an inexpensive way to save your pipes from harmful water hammering.
The installation is as simple as threading it into a 1/2" I.P. fitting. I installed a shut off valve in front of it for future maintenance in the event it should ever need to be replaced. I used to hear my pipes slam against the floor joists, but that is now a thing of the past.

Works well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice little addition to a set up. Pretty easy to install and makes quite a bit of a difference. Every time my washer switched cycles my lines would jerk and bounce. Well they still did a little bit only at this spot and no where else. Did the job it was supposed to do
