Great base, BUT........
The base says 6X6 but is actually 5.5X5.5, If you buy this, be prepared to chisel the base of your post 5.5DX5.5WX5.5H. Took about an hour to do both posts i needed. PYLEX should take into account that 6X6 PT are RARELY ever finished edges. They are usually rough cut, and rought cut is exactly 6X6.

They work great.
Bought these for my pergola project. Yes, they don’t fit standard 6x6 posts but I trimmed the posts…it wasn’t as big a problem as others seems to think.

I bought these for my 6x6 brown acq post for a pergola. Unfortunately, they don't fit onto a standard 6x6 post. They are roughly 1/2" too small. I have yet to find a bracket with the proper 5~3/4" measurement.
