Grab 2 or 3 of these powerful little lights!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little light of mine is great! I have a larger DEWALT light that takes the 20v battery and I love that for working on projects outside at night, but this little guy is almost as bright, half the size, and way more portable. That, paired with the magnet/carabiner clip/stand, make this little light a must have for any tool box. I’m thinking of getting a second or third for the car and backpack when I am out and about. I also love that it is rechargeable with a usb-c cable. Makes it so I can really take it anywhere.

Versatile Light from
Perfect Size and Brightness
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to receive this light mainly because of the “carabiner” that is a part of the magnetic base. I find myself needing to hang my other lights with random objects so this being integrated with the light was VERY useful. I used it initially on my night walks with my dog. I like being able to clip it to my belt or belt loops. The dim options are perfect. The next project I used it on was when my wife’s car needed some minor repairs. That’s where I truly got to test out the battery life. I clipped it to a vent tube and swiveled the light to shine at the right position. I can see this light going with me everywhere. Battery life is beyond what I expected, and it is very rugged so I don’t have to worry about it falling and breaking.

Perfect magnetic task light.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The task light is simple and very effective. First use was as focus light for my bandsaw. Lightning in my shop has typically been dark at my bandsaw but with the magnets I was able to attach directly over the blade for clear view of work area.
Three levels of brightness is useful for needs of light vs battery life. I found the lowest setting still had plenty of illumination for my use. Battery life was sufficient and lasted throughout the day I was in the shop and working.
The battery recharged with USB-C cable quickly.
I fully recommend.

Lights up the workspace plenty.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really bright, decent battery life it lasted a couple hours at the max brightness setting, and can recharge by usb-c. Love the magnet and carabiner hook, super handy. I can stick it on my miter saw to light up the base in low-light environments. Lights up the workspace plenty. My only wish is that it could take a powertool pack for power instead of the non-removable battery this has, the dewalt 2ah pack would fit this perfect. As a LED light, this thing is still awesome.

Great handy work light.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This handyman’s dream light is very convenient to use. The battery life is longer lasting then others. The stand on this unit holds the light at the right angle with out falling over. Comes with also magnetic base serves two uses locks in to the folding stage and holds well in different positions. Working on my car or other projects I am very pleased.

Well designed rugged worklight.

Rugged work light
DeWalt has designed the best work light I could ask for in the DCL182 task light. The DeWalt task light's versatile mounting options positions lighting on tasks with 3 distinct levels to choose from. The design and build quality makes for a very rugged lighting tool. I have recommended the DeWalt DCL 182 task light to friends and family has it is a great emergency light source as well as a work light.

Great light
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light is very handy specially in tight spaces where only 1 person is able to fit , light was bright enough, magnetic stand and swivel very useful when doing precision work. Battery lasted my work day and recharging it did not take long.
