Easy assembly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembly was easy as long as you follow the directions and it is lightweight enough for my mom to use it. The clips on the wheels were easy to remove if you have needle nose pliers and a hammer. I used a YouTube video to help me out.

Works great
Bought this to pull up an old weed/lawn in Florida and it worked great. Had it two years now and just used it to cultivate my garden for this season.

Powerful, cordless would have been better
Purchased for an ambitious backyard project. Large yard. The need for extension cords makes this product challenging to use because there isn’t a place to wrap the extension cord without it constantly falling close to the blades. In my opinion, this makes the unit operationally challenging, bordering on unsafe.

Poor planning
I received this tiller as a gift a year or so ago. It worked great last year, but when I took it out to use this year I hit a small rock and the tiller made a "pop" sound and stopped. Looking at it, there was nothing lodged in tines, but engine wouldn't start. Turns out the start wire had come loose off the handle and was too tight to reconnect. I have opened the start button box to see how to reattach the start wire and found a broken brush inside. I called to see if you could purchase the brush for this tiller and was told they don't have any of the parts inside the start box to sell. They have also discontinued the sale of the entire start button box. I was told that corded tillers were not being sold that often and I could check around to see if I could find the start button box elsewhere.
I know that when they assemble these tillers, that part is available. What am I supposed to do if I can't find either of the parts needed and my warranty is up? I don't want to spend money on a new tiller when I know the parts are in a warehouse somewhere. This is a great little tiller when it is working. It would be an easy fix if they would just send the brush.
Update-the tiller is still under warranty and Greenworks is sending a new tiller, but it would still be nice to have parts available in case the new tiller has the same issue. The warranty for new tiller is only good for the remainder of the old tiller warranty (10 months)

Disappointed
I used my little tiller 3 times and it worked just fine. I was pleased. I went to use it a 4th time and it won't even start. Yes I am using heavy duty electric cord. Feeling so disappointed.....

Would rate them 10 stars if I could
Purchased a cultivater almost a year ago. Used it to till my garden last year and started again this year. The motor stopped and I saw a little white smoke coming from the top of the unit through the vents. Great not even a year old and it's trash. Called Greenworks explained the problem and they are sending a replacement unit. Didn't expect it to be that easy. Great customer service. I will recommend Greenworks to everyone I know. Thank you

Electric cultivator is light weight and powerful!!
Received the de-thatcher just other day and put it all together which was a piece of cake. Seems solidly built considering all the plastic. I have the cultivator too and thought that was kind of sketchy being there was so much plastic, but I have to say...its a beast!! I've used it for several years and love it. I'm guessing I'm going to like the dethatcher just as much, but I'll write another review this spring after I try it out. I have a large back and front yard on Long Island here in NY, so its going to be put to the test for sure. The cultivator is incredibly powerful for such a small machine, but small has big advantages I never really even considered when I purchased it, like getting between already established rows. It's easy to manipulate like some large models probably aren't as much. The cord getting in the way is the only PITA, but I knew that it would be before I bought it, but I've gotten good at working my way around it. The advantage of it being electric vs battery operated which I've tried with other brands in the past is, electric is much more powerful IMO. I definitely recommend it w/o hesitation.
