Excellent Quality, very comfortable to use!
I have cut wood for over 50 years; cutting firewood and saw logs. I am retired now but still enjoy going in the woods and cutting wood. A good axe is an ace in the hole when in the woods, no matter what the activity. This 23.5 inch Forged Steel Axe is easily the best I.ve seen and now, thankfully, have. I am still happy to go in the woods and always happy to take my Fiskers X-15 with me.

Good axe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice axe. I got this X15 chopping axe and it is great. It is 23" and long but manageable. My wife can hold it easily as well. I have used this almost every day since getting it. I use it to cut wood at my house for our outside fire pit. I like how it came with a sheath to cover the blade. You can tell this axe is heavy duty along with the sheath. My wife said we need to buy another one just to have. I will be buying another one of these fiskars axes. It is very sharp and sturdy as well. I say go buy you one.

Great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My grandma had a tree fall down and was needing some help getting it all out of the way. All I had was this axe on me so I was dreading it. But to my surprise, it worked fabulously! It’s very sharp and it doesn’t take much to get through the branches! Obviously it works well on smaller branches but it doesn’t take much more on the bigger ones. We’ve used it many times since we’ve gotten it. I highly recommend!

Worked great for getting tree roots out
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this axe when we took down a tree that had been damaged in a storm. There were a lot of thick roots in the ground that were hard to remove. Thankfully this axe really helped to be able to cut them out.

Great Axe!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this axe a few months ago to be able to easly and quickly chop small limbs off my tree without having to get out the chainsaw. Makes quick work of anything I put infront of it also has a good balance which really helps.

Great Tool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fiskars X15 Chopping Axe has been an awesome tool to have. My home is on about 5 acres of property and much of the land is covered in trees. I needed an axe I was able to use often but would still be durable enough for the bigger limbs.
This axe has to be one of the sharpest I have purchased. The weight is evenly distributed so it makes for an easy swing. It has made clearly the dead branches on over a hundred of our trees so much easier.
After many uses, the blade has stayed very sharp. I was worried because the axe isn’t huge I might have some trouble with the larger pieces. I was very wrong. I’m not sure if the smaller size gave more of an efficient cut or the head of the axe gave more accuracy but every cut was precise and went almost clean through.
I was really impressed with the Fiskars Axe. The company made a really great, thought out axe for any type of job. Even the handle for simple storage was a great touch. The sheath fits nicely and looks sharp.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The axe is super sharp. It has a cover to cover the axe to make it safe to handle. The handle is easy to grip and thin. The handle is also long enough to give your hands space. The axe is very lightweight for easy swinging and chopping.
