Is this tool suitable for thinset/mortar mixing? Can it accept a 1/2 inch diameter mixing tool?
It has an SDS+ drill chuck so I don’t think it will work with your mixing rod. They say it is for drilling steel, wood, concrete and concrete demolition. They don’t talk about mixing as a use for this tool.

Great SDS Hammer Drill and Affordable
I had several 7/8" holes to drill in 12" concrete block and shopped around for an affordable SDS Plus hammer drill to do the job. I found this one on sale at Rona and was skeptical at first due to the lower price but decided to purchase and give it a try. The holes were drilled with ease and I wasn't disappointed. The drill was quite well balanced with significant vibration damping, which was beneficial since I was using the tool from an extension ladder.
My only concern, the method of tightening the front handle appears it could break if overtightened. Suggest to use caution and not overtighten as it doesn't require much clamping force to hold the handle securely in place.
This is a great tool for occasional home use on large or small jobs , just keep it well lubricated and it will thank you for it.

OK product...excellent price and shipping
I bought this as a black Friday deal...ordering was seamlessly, and the item was shipped and received in a very timely manner. I don't think the drill is made for everyday use but ideal for my needs. I did a test hole, and it worked fine.

Broke after 2 uses - no warranty support
We purchased this for ocasional use. On the second use it stopped working and the comapny and rona wont help with the warranty.
