After applying adhesive removing to take off the old vinyl adhesive, how long to wait to apply new adhesive on new flooring, will it stick to the wood after using this product

Rated 2 out of 5 by Easy Rider from Disappointed with this product 🫣 This product , when used as directed, is moderately helpful for removing flooring glue. You need to use significant force with a sharp scraper or chisel. Please only use OUTSIDE your home or workplace; heavy toxic fumes!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Niblets from Needs to soak in to work well Purchased this to remove the backer and adhesive from 40 year-old vinyl floor that was firmly bonded to the concrete slab. We scraped the top patterned layer of vinyl with electric floor scraper then used this to get the rest. You need to apply generously and leave it sit for several hours/overnight to work. It was effective to cover the applied product with a sheet of thin poly to prevent evaporation from the top before it has a chance to penetrate. The jug did approx 600sqft for us. Still messy and laborious job but couldn’t have done it without this product.

And the glue fake wood was coming off and this help me so much. In removing the adhesive so I could have a clean canvas to put the new floor and not have clunky areas. Really helpful and easy to use. Definitely a good buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Max Strip Professional Floor Adhesive Remover to remove an unknown adhesive product that was used on a concrete porch. I belive the adhesive was used to hold outdoor carpeting in place. I had great success after only one use! This product can be used on concrete or plywood, and is applied either by paint brush or roller depending on the size of the area being worked on. The Gel formula is fast working and should be ready to scrape off between 30 minutes and 3 hours after application. You do want to remove the product before it completely dries. After use, clean the area with mild soap and water. It leaves you with a clean working surface.

We havr never used a remover before so it worked better than i ever imagined it would. It can get a little messy but its quick cleanup. I would ise it on a small atea only.
