Surf-Pro 110-ml Non-Toxic Biodegradable Gel Silicone Buster is rated 2.4 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked great around sink and countertop Maybe it works bestbif used right away. Recommend buying ahead of time for any install project clean ups, still need to use putty knife to scoop up residue but leaves counter like new if used quickly and correctly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not work for me! Followed instructions but it didn't work. 100percent alcohol is better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works like a charm! Seriously!!! I have never seen this before in my life, but I bought it in a last ditch effort to remove silicone residue off my tub and tiles before applying new 100% silicone caulking. I scraped off as much old caulking using an x-acto blade. I squeezed on the gel/liquid where the residue was and spread it around slightly with my finger. I let it sit for 30 minutes as per the instructions, then went back and scraped/wiped it off with my blade again. It came off so incredibly easy! I was amazed! It did run a bit down the edge of my tub but wiped up with a cloth just as easy (I may have used too much!) I probably didn’t have to, but I spread more on (thinner though), waited another 30 minutes, to make sure I got every little spec of old caulking off. (White tub, white tiles, white old caulking - it was hard to see!) To remove any residual chemicals, I went over the entire tub deck and bottom of the tiles with a bit of Isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) on a rag. The tub and tiles are squeaky clean, free of any residue and I only used about 1/4 of the bottle! I totally recommend SILICONE BUSTER. I bought it at Rona (March 2020) but it may be available at other big box stores. If I could, I would rate it 10 stars! Cheers!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Good After removing silicone and leaving a very tiny, thin film (0.2-0.4 mm at most) I applied 5 times, let it sit 30 min and then more increasingly, like the instructions say. It barely softened the surface or the loose shredded silicone but not the thin film stuck to my chrome surface. There is a point where I was afraid to scratch (the already somewhat scratched) silicone. The guy at the store said - just like the bottle says - that after 30 min, a rag is supposed to wipe it off. Well no, it didn't happen after multiple tries, and after applying it generously in thick films (1 mm thick over the entire area). So I tried and it failed. After hours and hours I gave up - it's not working!!! Luckily the staff was nice enough to reimburse me. PS: also tried the orange one (you know what, the g one) and it's fairly weak too (both dissolving slow slow slow, good only if the caulk is fresh or if you're on tile or something that you can scrape) AND mineral spirits which are slightly more aggressive at dissolving but still not good enough to take it off. So try better/stronger if you can.
