Floor epoxy is a stubborn coating to strip we recommend testing a small area first with treated surface covered in plastic for best removal time. It could take up to an overnight set time for removal.

Not that great - skip this one.
Beware: There are a ton of fake positive reviews for this product on Rona (you can tell because they say "Originally posted on Product Sampling Community"). Those positive reviews were made by people to get the product for free. If they leave a bad review, then they won't be given any more products to review for free. This product, like all recent paint strippers, do not work well due to the government mandating that methylene chloride cannot be used anymore. Just be aware that this product is not like the olden day paint strippers where the paint falls off in minutes, this will take a long time and a lot scraping will be required.

Very quick remover!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have an antique chest that we bought from garage sale. The wooden chest was painted blue and white. We purchased it as a project to do in our spare time. I had tried some other types of paint removers and nothing was able to penetrate it well enough to really remove anything. I applied Max Strip recently and walked away while it worked. When I came back, the paint had bubbled up and was ready to remove! Very little elbow grease was needed. A paint scraper removed almost all the paint. Some areas needed to be spot treated again, but definitely a time saver! I would recommend this product!

Gets old paint off
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product removed a few layers of old paint for me. The instructions were easy to follow. I tested a small part of my outdoor metal plant stand, let it sit for 15 minutes under plastic wraps. It did not get the paint of as easy, so I let the product sit for an hour. It worked great the second time around! Almost no effort to scrape the paint off. Also use a wet cloth. It helps! So, I think it takes some trial-and error, but it works. No more painting over old paint. Finished smooth and no bumps from the old paint. It's kind of fun and relaxing. I am no professional, so a bit proud of my work.

Took a bit of time, but worked well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to use this remover on an old side table that had quite a few layers of paint on it. The instructions on how to use it were clear and easy. It did take about 2 days to remove the paint and there were still some areas, especially in the corners and grooves, that remained with paint. Not a big deal, as I can quickly sand them down.
I love that there is no overbearing scent and it can be used indoors (although I did mine outside). I will be testing it out again on a coffee table to see if I can get quicker and better results, but as for the side table, it worked pretty well.

Works so fast!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I am using this on some table legs I bought but they weren’t the color I wanted. They have a very thick white paint on them. After only 5 min the paint was so easy to start scraping off(I was testing it to see if it was working I am impatient lol)! I then let it soak for the time on the bottle which is 30min-hr and the paint was coming off like melted butter. I definitely recommend this to anyone who has a big or small project. It doesn’t have a overpowering smell and is biodegradable so that is a plus in my book. I also like how it’s more of a gel so it’s super easy to apply!

Works quickly and effectively
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really impressed with this paint and varnish stripper! It is extremely easy to use and it works great. It strips the paint and varnish quickly and effectively, you just apply it and wait a few minutes and scrape it off. My table looks amazing! My kids have used it for arts and crafts so it was looking pretty rough, I cleaned it up and stripped it down and it looks beautiful ! I like it better than how it was when I bought it! Its not a really strong overpowering scent, it is actually much more mild than I was expecting. I highly recommend checking this out. Great product!

Works pretty well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Max strip paint & varnish stripper and I was excited to use it on some older furniture we have. The application process was fairly easy. Then I let it set for quite some time since it had a lot of layers of stubborn paint on. After that we scraped and it did a fairly good job, most of the paint had come off but there were some very stubborn spots we had to re do. We covered those difficult spots with plastic and that really helped and made a big difference in removal. Overall I'm pleased with this paint stripper and will use it again on various projects.

Times have changed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying, times sure have changed. Technology has come a long way with paint strippers. The max strip paint and varnish remover works really well, and you don’t need a nuclear protection suit to apply this product , like the paint strippers of old. I do however recommend a well ventilated work space. Follow the instructions and it works well, and like any project a little elbow grease is required. I used it to strip some beautiful solid wood doors, and they came out great. And to be honest I can’t figure out why the people I bought the house from painted them. Will definitely continue to use this product.
