Removes spray paint from Eiffel style chairs
I tried a few other products including the EZ strip all purpose remover to take off spray paint from plastic Eiffel style dining chairs. I found this product did the trick with two coats like the instructions say. Don’t be scared to be generous in your application and the cover over night for really good results. I’ll be using it again for different projects and would recommend wearing gloves when removing the paint as the product mixed with it makes it kinda messy and sticky. My chairs had a slight texture to them and I think this product would work even better on smooth surfaces. I’d give this product a 85-90% effectiveness.

Very quick remover!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have an antique chest that we bought from garage sale. The wooden chest was painted blue and white. We purchased it as a project to do in our spare time. I had tried some other types of paint removers and nothing was able to penetrate it well enough to really remove anything. I applied Max Strip recently and walked away while it worked. When I came back, the paint had bubbled up and was ready to remove! Very little elbow grease was needed. A paint scraper removed almost all the paint. Some areas needed to be spot treated again, but definitely a time saver! I would recommend this product!

Gets old paint off
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product removed a few layers of old paint for me. The instructions were easy to follow. I tested a small part of my outdoor metal plant stand, let it sit for 15 minutes under plastic wraps. It did not get the paint of as easy, so I let the product sit for an hour. It worked great the second time around! Almost no effort to scrape the paint off. Also use a wet cloth. It helps! So, I think it takes some trial-and error, but it works. No more painting over old paint. Finished smooth and no bumps from the old paint. It's kind of fun and relaxing. I am no professional, so a bit proud of my work.

Took a bit of time, but worked well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to use this remover on an old side table that had quite a few layers of paint on it. The instructions on how to use it were clear and easy. It did take about 2 days to remove the paint and there were still some areas, especially in the corners and grooves, that remained with paint. Not a big deal, as I can quickly sand them down.
I love that there is no overbearing scent and it can be used indoors (although I did mine outside). I will be testing it out again on a coffee table to see if I can get quicker and better results, but as for the side table, it worked pretty well.

Works well!
I used this product to remove varnish and stain only from table tops of a coffee table and two side tables (not their body). It works very well and makes no toxic fumes or mess. I had used other paint removers before which were a total mess without doing their job well. I looked up on other people's experience in other websites which was very helpful. These are my conclusion on recommendations and my own experience to obtain the best result:
1- Shake well before using.
2- Use a wide brush for the application.
3- Wrap with plastic those areas you are not going to treat.
4- Apply the liquid thoroughly and very generously to a level surface until leaving a not very thin but visible white coat on the surface.
5- Do not hesitate to cover the surface with a plastic sheet immediately after application to prevent drying.
6- Wait 15-30 minutes for softening of the old varnish.
7- Use a flat 3' scraper with a gentle and homogeneous pressure instead of a curved one which may damage the wood or leave the material on wood. Flat scraper will help in better removal with almost no mess. For the curved rims, I used a small fine metallic brush.
8- Clean the surface with a small towel soaked in warm water.
9- Unless you are going to stain your wood with a natural wood colour and the furniture doesn't have varnish on it, make no doubt to treat the wood with the second application of EZ Strip. Otherwise, you will have hard times with darker staining. You don't need to wait for drying the piece for second application.
10- Clean the treated area with the towel and warm water well and let it dry for 24 hours.
11- For darker stain projects, sand the surface well with fine sand papers (180 or higher) until seeing a raw wood appearance.
12- Repair any dents with wood filler and finely sand after drying.
13. Clean the surface well and start your exciting staining project.
14- I used 1.5 liters of the liquid for my job for two application on about 20 sqf of wood surface.
15- Result after staining and polyurethane varnish: Perfect!

Works so fast!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I am using this on some table legs I bought but they weren’t the color I wanted. They have a very thick white paint on them. After only 5 min the paint was so easy to start scraping off(I was testing it to see if it was working I am impatient lol)! I then let it soak for the time on the bottle which is 30min-hr and the paint was coming off like melted butter. I definitely recommend this to anyone who has a big or small project. It doesn’t have a overpowering smell and is biodegradable so that is a plus in my book. I also like how it’s more of a gel so it’s super easy to apply!

Works quickly and effectively
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really impressed with this paint and varnish stripper! It is extremely easy to use and it works great. It strips the paint and varnish quickly and effectively, you just apply it and wait a few minutes and scrape it off. My table looks amazing! My kids have used it for arts and crafts so it was looking pretty rough, I cleaned it up and stripped it down and it looks beautiful ! I like it better than how it was when I bought it! Its not a really strong overpowering scent, it is actually much more mild than I was expecting. I highly recommend checking this out. Great product!

Works pretty well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Max strip paint & varnish stripper and I was excited to use it on some older furniture we have. The application process was fairly easy. Then I let it set for quite some time since it had a lot of layers of stubborn paint on. After that we scraped and it did a fairly good job, most of the paint had come off but there were some very stubborn spots we had to re do. We covered those difficult spots with plastic and that really helped and made a big difference in removal. Overall I'm pleased with this paint stripper and will use it again on various projects.
