This LG compact electrical dryer has a wide range of features without compromising on quality. The Sensor Dry system evaluates humidity levels during the cycle and automatically adjusts the drying time to ensure clothes are actually dry when taken out. so the dryer states venting sold separately, can the dryer be converted to a vented dryer with hose and all, I am looking for a vented dryer/ and regular 24 inc wide stackable unit and it is so hard to find one that isn't heated pump, ventless etc

Not.
As regular / standard / passed experiences, dryer request 120/240 Volt, 30Amp special power & outlet.

Unreliable Start and Stop
I have been trying to find an explanation of what the flashing icons on the LED Display panel mean when the dryer stops working and certain icons start flashing. The manual has no explanation. I also cleaned the vent, filter, water container and reset the entire dryer. The first icon in the display (shirt with waves) will blink and the dryer will not operate until I wait an hour or more to start it again. It is impossible to find out what this means...even after researching and cleaning the dryer.

My landlord just got this dryer for a small 600sq foot apartment.
Do not buy this dryer if the space is small and enclosed. It emits very hot air and does doesn't drain due to the condensation. So it will pool water under it - ruining a floor or leak to the apartment below.

Artificial scent
I just did our first load. We are a scent free home because of chemical sensitivies. There was an artificial floral scent that permeated the house as the dryer worked. What is this? Is it possible to remove the cause?

Perfect for my use
I've been using this set for two weeks. I do my mom's laundry as well so both units have had lots of use (approximately 4 loads per day).
I live in an apartment condo where I cannot vent the dryer and need to work within space limitations. I've had no issues with the backlit display that others have cited. I am extremely pleased with both units.
The washer has sufficient features to allow me to wash anything, but I've found that I typically use the normal setting. My adaptations to settings remain from wash to wash. It would be helpful to have lighting in the washer when the door opens and to have the unit determine how much detergent I need similarily to the water use, or at least have an indicator in the detergent dispenser. I use liquid detergent designed for a high efficiency washer.
I am especially pleased with the dryer. My plumber set it up so the moisture drains into the same drainspout as the washer so I don't have to manually drain the reservoir. Although I had read somewhere that ventless dryers don't do as good a job as the venting variety, I haven't experienced that. I typically use the multi-fabric setting. The dryer does release heat at the front so it may be an issue in the summer, but not a problem at this time.
The installers took the time to ensure everything was level and balanced so there has been no vibration. They are stacked and located in the kitchen, but because they're counter depth and quiet, I don't find them intrusive in my small apartment.

Quiet and Efficient
Great product - never any issues, clothes come out very dry. I love how quiet the machine is, and the beep to end cycle is loud enough it can be heard from another room.

vents inside?
While the washer is absolutely horrible, the dryer is marginally better. Our only problem is that it vents inside and it got our second floor unbearably hot. The door in the laundry room started to crack because of the hot air blown to it. We should at least have the option of venting outside...

Lots of issues
Where to start...? The Lowe’s website is misleading in that it indicates that a power cord and stacker kit are not included. They are.
The unit itself seems to run very hot and has a noticeable odour. We contacted the LG support line and were told it’s because the drum was wrapped in plastic at the warehouse. Just run it they said.
