Description

Prepare fantastic dishes with ease with this high-performing GE Profile gas range with a convection oven. The large capacity oven is equipped with 3 racks for separate meals to bake simultaneously, and the TrueTemp system spreads heat evenly for perfect results, every time. The 4 sealed burners and non-stick griddle have different heat outputs to take on every task, from simmering a broth to searing meat. Plus, the dishwasher-safe edge to edge grates and knobs can be thoroughly cleaned, while the steam-cleaning function takes care of the oven. Additionally, the warming drawer doubles as storage at your convenience. Both the gas range and oven have control locks for safety, and features like Sabbath Mode, Delay Bake and a gliding rack to facilitate cooking even further.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kp7347 from Very pleased I’m a kitchen person. We had to buy a new gas range because for the past 3 years the oven temp when baking would not hold the heat. Many service calls including 2 computers….we finally gave up. I was gun shy. Didn’t know which brand to buy. Looking online so many makes and everyone had negative and positive reviews. We called the man who serviced our range and asked him what brand he recommended and he said GE. He even referred us to the store that had the most GE ranges to look at. The next day we went to that store not intending to buy one, but we did! I am very happy with this range. AND i can bake cookies and pies that turn out great!

Rated 3 out of 5 by ginnic from Not A1 The gas range was received with a back panel that looks too big for the range so it makes a curve in the back. The control panel is hard to use. I have to push very hard on the electronic button for it to work, especially the start button. Since this button is used every time you use the oven I'm afraid that it wont last. I've been using this range only for 5 weeks. We are happy with the burners. The 3 stars if for the back panel that is defective and the control panel that is hard to use.My husband thinks that maybe the button is not well aligned with the electronic control.

Rated 4 out of 5 by gfamigo4 from Great Cooking and Baking but Quirky Controls We like cooking with the burners. They are very versatile and controllable. The griddle was a nice feature, and is a nice heavy cast iron. The convection oven works very well, as does the warming drawer. However, the oven touch pad controls are a bit unintuitive, not well documented, and require very heavy pressure to activate. We find it easier to set the kitchen timer or oven temperature via WiFi and the SmartHQ app. You really need to download the full manual online to understand the controls. But even then, spend some time experimenting with it before you try to bake something. And use your thumb so you can press hard enough.
