Can this duct be cut to shorten length without losing the benefit of the quick connector fitting ?

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jedb from Poor design The rubber rings don’t really stay in when you thread the exhaust side into other pipe. Also very tight fit on dryer side makes it really hard to install. I ended up using foil tape and clamps.
