Great machines
We were excited to get this wonderful stackable washer/dryer at a very reasonable price. It looked and sounded great and is! It helped that our daughter had one like this as figuring out how to use was a bit overwhelming. The man that delivered it and set it up is said we could use pod detergent, don’t! The pod didn’t dissolve. We are very happy with the job both the washer and dryer do! Delivered, set up, took old machines. Delivery men wore masks, set everything up, and were pleasant and wasted no time. Again, great machines, great price, great job cleaning our laundry and drying it, too! Noisy, even with only towels. Slow too dry.
This dryer (and it's paired washer) came with the home I purchased. It is less than a year old and makes an incredibly noisy rattling noise, even when drying a load of towels. I've tried rebalancing the machine, but no luck. I called Whirlpool support and they suggested unplugging and plugging the machine back in would solve the problem...... for rattling noises!! I'm still waiting on a service call for this machine. It's also slow to dry my laundry. My previous dryer, using similar heat/time settings dried the same loads in about ½ the time. Needless to say, I'm not impressed with this dryer. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Sooo quiet and efficient!!
I got this dryer just recently, I have used it for a variety of loads during this pandemic!!
It handled my comforters (more than one) like a true champ! The touch controls are really easy and there are many “fine tuning” options as well. The lint filter is durable and easy to clean. So far, my son came home from college with all (ALL) his stuff. We had it done lickety split! The wrinkle free button is a fan favorite!!
I wasn’t even going to get the dryer, but/ when my new washer came- it was sleek and modern and quiet and energy efficient- I just had to do it. Glad I did!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Quiet operation. Good value.
Works well, quiet operation. Two points that I found less favorable:(1) the instructions for switching the door were incorrect and need to be updated; and (2) no strain-relief connector in my hardware kit. Given the larger size of where the cord (separate purchase) enters the dryer housing, a strain relief connector should have been included in the hardware pack for safety reasons. Strain relief ensures that the electrical connects remain safe and secure and prevents the cord from abrasions against the housing. Unit stacks nicely with accompanying Whirlpool washer. Didn't make it a month before problems
Bought it about 5 weeks ago. Worked fine. Then all of a sudden it wouldn't power up. Checked the power at the socket... electricity is good. Checked power at the point the power cable connects to the dryer... electricity is good. Reported the problem to the company, and they dispatched a repairman three days later. He thinks it's a board inside the unit, but they didn't have any spares. Checked the factory and no spares to be had there. He told me to call them after a week if we don't hear back before that.
I could have just received a lemon, but who knows... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Great for OUR Country (living)
We live out in the country and work on a ranch. A 1920s house does not have much room for a washer. This jewel fits right into a tiny closet with the dryer on top. Manure, soil, concrete, chemicals, and ground-in dirt or plant material are no match for the cleaning power of this machine. It handles a heavy load of jeans and shirts just fine. It does a great job on the wife's delicate unmentionables, too. It puts very little water into our septic system compared to a regular washing machine. I find it very easy to use and operate. I highly recommend this machine. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Not bad , not the best
I’ve had this dryer about a month now and it’s very easy to use, quiet, and holds anything I could ever imagine needing to dry , but often things get wrapped in the middle of the bundle and won’t be dry so I’ll have to re sort and keep drying . It looks great and frees up space by being stacked in our smallish laundry room and that’s the main reason we went to front loaders for our reno but I’m starting to Miss my old “inefficient “ Machines . Dried everything in 30 min or less and things were actually all dry . [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Preset cycles do not dry clothes completely
I have had Whirlpool dryers in the past and had no complaints. The first new Whirlpool dryer that I bought lasted 10 days before I had to make a call to your service center. The technician came in and explained that the motor and blower had to be replaced. I then contacted Lounsburys to tell that I wanted a new dryer and the replaced it with the dryer that I will be reviewing. The new dryer works well; however, the preset cyles (other than the towel setting) do not dry clothes completely. I have to use the timed dry most times. I gave it a 3 star because it didn't break down after 10 days and it does dry the clothes well as long as I don't use most of the preset cycles (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)
