Narrower and smaller then my previous one.
I had a Whirlpool 18-inch icemaker for almost 15 years and it was in the house when we bought it. It gave good service and nice ice so when it developed a leak that could not be fixed I decided to purchase another Whirlpool about 3 weeks ago. Unfortunately they don't make an 18-inch wide model anymore and had to purchase the 15-inch model. The down side is the smaller size required some trim work for my cabinets. The door and ice storage unit is much smaller than my previous one which does not allow me to just dip by large glasses in the bin and the ice in back tends to stick together. I do like the light and it seems to keep ice well . I will have to use it longer to see how well it performs, ease of cleaning etc. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Great looking and great ice cubes
I moved into this house 30 years ago and this is my 3rd machine from this same line of Whirlpool icemakers. The first lasted 16 years and the second lasted 14 years and I'm expecting similar great service out of this one. We love the small, clear ice cubes! I've already gotten a relative to buy a Kictchen Aid machine from Whirlpool after having been at my house. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I love it!
Makes clear ice, beautifully, and quickly. It replaced one that was about 10 years old, and is substantially better in that the buttons are now instantaneous, whereas you had to press and hold the old buttons (why? who knows...). I have only used it for a few days, but am happy as a clam with it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Best icemaker I've found
This is the 4th or 5th icemaker like this that I have purchased over the past 20 years. Great CLEAR ice in small cubes that are perfect for drinks or ice chest. They are expensive and they require regular cleaning to keep them working but it seems that is just the price you pay for great ice. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Great ice!
We bought this when doing a kitchen renovation. It's great to have the smaller ice cubes :). It is a little loud when filling and cycling. I'm not sure if there is a quieter machine or not, but we do have to crank up the TV when it's going ha! I know we'll use this a lot in the hot summers! Replacing a ice maker
I bought a less expensive ice maker a couple years ago. I had trouble string the size of cubes and then it just decided to make giant cubes, over flowed and ruined my hard wood floors. Stepped up and got this unit and love it. Makes great size cubes and they do not clump together. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Overall great, a little noisy
This is our 3rd ice maker in 15 years, with repairs in between. I don’t think they are built to last in the size and price point. But we love having so much ice on hand. BBQs, coolers, boating - we could never keep up with demand in a refrigerator ice maker. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Excellent choice!
We purchased this to replace our 20 year old whirlpool undercounter icemaker. The installation was easy, and we are very happy with the way it produces beautifully clear ice. We love the fact that the new model has a light and electronic features. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
