Does the oven have a door lock for when cleaning mode is on . I currently have a convection oven and have to adjust my recipes temperature and cook times ( ie 375 - 350 and 10-20 minutes to 10-15 minutes) will I need to do the same or is it automatic
Hi dyana, Yes the door will automatically lock during the clean cycle. You will still need to make these adjustments for this range. However our Kitchenaid Ranges have a convection conversion feature which does the adjustments for you. Thanks

Can you set a time for the oven to start and stop ie cook while your at work and be ready when you get home?
You need to be home to start the oven but it will shut off on its own

How and with what do you clean the surface with that is safe . Burnt on spills etc.Love my stove, scared to clean it.
Use a ceramic cooktop cleaner and a straight edge blade to scrape off anything that is cooked on

Convection feature is terrible
I was looking forward to getting this range specifically for the true convection, but I am very disappointed. My 10 min sugar cookies took nearly 25 min to bake using convection. Then I tried fish and again the cook time was more than double. I tried increasing the temperature by 50 degrees and it is still taking longer than what the standard recipes call for. The regular bake temperatures seem fine, but once convection is selected everything seems to cool right down. It works fine as a regular oven on standard bake and broil settings, but if that is what I wanted I could have ordered a basic range for a lot less money.

Very large oven, nice adjustable racks
I bought this oven as my old one stopped working, and I don’t know why I waited so long. This stove is so nice, burners heat fast, then stop just as quickly when turned off. But the oven is fantastic. It’s large, large enough to cook an entire meal. I am so looking forward to baking Christmas goodies in half the time. My only complaint is the cooktop is difficult to clean and have found that it needs to be cleaned immediately to avoid trouble. Also the instruction booklet is very vague about its features. The steam cleaning feature is nice, but you still have to scrub after roasting or broiling. Still I definitely would recommend this cooker to anyone in the market. Great Range
Used this range for a month now and it has lived up to my expectations. The dual and triple zone are great. The oven is large and the control explanations are very helpful. The convection fan is quiet and heats the oven evenly. The black 'Schott Ceran' top is very handsome however its blackness highlights smudges under range hood light.
The light indicators for top units being on or/or hot are rather small and located between the knobs minimizing their significance. These should be larger and relocated in the middle between the 2 sets of controls This would make them more prominent.
The larger oven makes the lower storage drawer rather small for anything but the flattest of items. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Really nice stove but..
I am quite happy with my stove but wish it had plug-in and that the oven light could be turned on with the door closed. This defeats the purpose of having a lovely large window on the oven door if you can't see inside when something's cooking. I love the extra large oven space with the three racks one of which is split level. Haven't tried the aqua lift clean function yet. This model has a nice clean look and all the functions are super easy to figure out. Overall, I'm very very happy with this model and hope it lasts for years without a breakdown. Almost perfect range!!
It's early days still and I haven't used all the features on the range but so far everything is working great. The stove top is easy to use. The oven works great. I like the feature telling you what the oven temperature is while pre-heating it. (Note: The first time you use the oven there will be some smoke)
I do have two complaints, first the knobs to control the stove seem fairly cheap. There are light plastic with a chrome finish. It doesn't fit in with the sturdiness of the rest of the range. Second, the tray at the bottom of the range, sliding it in and out can be awkward at times. (Small complaints but still it could be better) (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Easy clean!
We bought this stove for our new home, about 4 months ago. I love to cook and wanted convection heat was a must. This stove has great heat on the stove top or the oven. The quick heat oven is great for those last min items. I have used the self clean function and was I impressed, our other stove had the four hour hot clean, that smelled up our home and I was always afraid someone might get burned from the stove. This self clean 40 min steam was great, no smell and cleaned very well. The stove top cleans up like a dream too. For the price point of this stove it works great! This True Convection Range is the one to have !
I bought this appliance two months ago and am so happy that I did ! I have been experimenting with the convection cooking and how it can make the time & effort in the kitchen less, with good, wholesom foods cooked, and it just keeps amazing me. The best take-aways are : 1 3/4 hour to roast a small chicken to perfection; roasting ham, scalloped potatoes and veggies for a family dinner of 21 people; and I can still use my tried and true recipes without any worries about adjusting the temperature for convection operation. I find it easy to use, directions are simple, and it has met and exceeded all of my expectations so far!! Best oven I have owned in 30 years ! (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Whirlpool 6.4 range
We got our stove about 2 months ago now. I am so very pleased with this stove. I LOVE how I can use the convection to cook multiple pizzas for our fussy family movie nights. I love the cook top. I purchased a protective cover for it and now it provides a little extra room in our very small kitchen. The controls are so simple to use. The oven cleans up in a breeze with the self clean option.
