Okay hole saws, but the rest is junk
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to install a deadbolt in a solid wood door. The hole saws cut as expected, not much to complain about there. The alignment jig is made of flimsy plastic and shifted several times. Ended up getting it out of the way. The router bit and strike plate template were completely useless. The bit would not move through the door or the frame. Tested this bit on some soft pine too, didn't even move through that. Don't bother buying this. Spend the money on a nice hole saw for the large opening and just use a spade bit for the small opening.

Not somethink I would rely on for perfection.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Plastic body does not secure it to rely on for the job to avoid a good job. It does not help to keep your drill straight for a perpendicular drill-through for both sides to line up to drill back from the other side using the pilot hole as a guide. The door thickness adjustment does not lock in place well enough to maintain the correct setback if you need the shorter 1 3/8". It slips to the dee3persetback unknowingly & you can miss-drill & ruin your door. I went back to measuring by hand to mark my hole locations & drilled free hand for perfection. Fortunately, I tried it out on a piece of scrap for a trial run, or my door would be toast...

Broke on the 2nd door we used it on
The hole saws are nice but the guide is plastic crap. It doesn't stay fixed and it broke on the back side of the door when the saw went through. Spend a little more money and get a better one if you have a lot of doors to do

Door Lock Install Kit (Craftsman)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Has all components needed to install a blank door template. Works great, derabile, used it on many jobs so far. Only wish it came with a small bag to carry it in so I didn’t chance losing any of the smaller bits/parts. Would pay more for small carrying case. Great Product

Poor product
I tried to drill new hole in previously drilled door. The product came apart when drilling the large hole, you screw the unit red plastic part, into the face, which holds but the larger hole, black plastic part, broke loose from the a fixed part causing the hole to move. I went back and purchased the Lenox kit and was done in minutes. Don't let the Craftsman name fool you.

Pure garbage
DO NOT get this tool. it is pure garbage. First off, its plastic. It flexes like crazy. you will not get the holes in exactly the right place. Second, it loves to break into two piece. the red part inside will detach on you. DOES NOT clamp to the door. you are expected to attach the tool to the door using the screws for your door latch.
TOOL FLEXES LIKE CRAZY.
nearly ruined 2 doors I tried this with. Returned it to get the more expensive one.
GET THE MORE EXPENSIVE ONE. You will ruin your doors with this.

Good except latch template and "router" bit
All good except the latch mortise template and faux "router bit". Hole saw jig worked great. I then used the latch mortising template which flexed leaving a very sloppy mortise. Wish I just used my chisel for that part. The "router bit" was horrible to use.

Shut the front door.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this type of item before and they're easy to use and save a lot of time. If you hang your own doors this is a must have.
