It's actually an " attachment".. Will not function w/o a " PowerHead" unit of a compatible nature. ( I use Troybuilt)

Shallow depth and hard on the back
This cultivator is hard on the back. Trying to get to any kind of depth is very difficult with it being so light. If they'd simply incorporated a small set of wheels (similar to what is on the mini cultivator by Troy built, Mantis or Honda) it would be a winner because then you wouldn't have to support it's weight plus the torque of it's digging force while you're using it.
If you have some small garden beds and you want something to mix in surface amendments this will work very well (as long as you don't use it for too long at a time), but if you want to break new ground or work amendments in deeper you'll need something a lot bigger.

Works great with the Kobalt 80v trimmer
Worked very well in all areas including weeds, roots, and small rocks. Took a gamble as I saw no reviews on the attachment usage on the Kobalt 80V trimmer, however it worked smoothly. I tried to use a rake but it was tuff on my shoulder, even though this give the unit some weight it moves itself easily. Initially i thought the power was lacking, but seemed to be just fine, especially on the higher setting. changing out the trimmer to the cultivator was easy, and I plan on getting the edger next. Wheels would have been a nice touch and its a bit tough to add weight to dig deep, but again, it shuffles through tuff dirt rather easily and a few passes makes quick work of loosening the soil.

Fits my Stihl KM85R...... Sorta
Bought this 3-20-2019. I wanted this to fit my Stihl KM85R to till my garden boxes. Way cheaper than the stihl attachment. Well it does fit it and it works well. BUT On my trimmer power unit, this tiller/cultivator attachment has the index button 90º off from the normal position of the power unit handle. This changes how the handle of the trimmer is held and how the throttle is help/squeezed as well. This was not as bad as I thought it would be when using it. I am sure I can fix this if I want to take make the effort to do so. I will use it a while like it is and decide whether to change it or not. I am glad I bought it and I know I will use it a great deal.

Yet another wonderful investment
I purchased this tiller after much debate about renting a dedicated high power tiller or an attachment to the 4 stoke power head I already owned. I took a risk and now that I have used it I am amazed of how well it performs. It is very portable, powerful, and greatly efficient. I now have a larger garden, laid down some new grass seed, replaced the front yard garden beds, etc. What I liked the most is getting rid of bamboo that was overgrowing from the neighbor’s yard...roots and bamboo gone! Next task will be a French drain...with loose soil it will be easy moving soil and not digging it out.

This attachment works unbelievably well. I'm putting in a vegetable garden in a plot with a good amount of roots and ground cover.
I broke the dirt up into large clumps with a pick axe, and then turned this little unt loose on what I had turned over. It worked amazingly well, better than I thought. It powdered the soil in no time at all. Had to stop a few times to clear roots and material wrapped around the tines. It never stopped working.
I tried it on compacted solid soil, it worked ok, but took too long.
If you're putting in a small to medium size garden I would highly recommend this attachment.
Super value for $99.00 bucks.

Cultivator attachment
I bought this attachment to till some areas of my lawn that were all weed or bare spots. Some areas are all clay so I was not sure if this attachment would work well. To my suproise it performed perfectly. It ground up those clay area with no problem. There were also a variety of large rocks and roots which posed no problem. A few of the rocks did get wedged between the tines but I was able to remove. The lock pins which hold the tines on are easy to remove, allowing to clean the tines very easily...good design. Just wish I had more areas to till

Great Deal
This tiller stood up to twig sized roots and approximately 1" sized rocks in my yard. My 27cc weedwacker had ample power to till down 3-4" in moderately compacted dirt. The tines came apart easily to clean and remove debris. It is well constructed with no plastic parts. The best way to use it is to pull it through the dirt as opposed to pushing it. It did get heavy after 8-10 minutes of use. I would recommend this tiller to anyone looking for an inexpensive way to till soil around their home.

Well Worth the Investment
i was very skeptical about purchasing this even after reading the good reviews. But, this was well worth the money. As long as you understand that this isn't a full blown tiller, you'll be very happy with the performance. Snaps right on and you're up and running in a minute.
My only beef is a design issue that causes rocks to get hung up between the blades and the guard. They have several mounting bolts protruding down into the blade well which tends to cause rocks to get jammed between the blades and guard. However, the blades come apart really easy so clearing it is more of an annoyance than anything else. Also kind of heavy after a few hours. Would be nice to have a shoulder strap. Overall though, a great little time saver that performs very well.
