Whirlpool 36"gas cooktop
I absolutely love my new cooktop stove. Looks super nice and cleaning is so easy because of lifting grates. We researched this cooktop and visited the store to see actual item. Our time was well spent. Looking forward to cooking on this cooktop for many years. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Great upgrade for our kitchen
I bought this to replace an old worn out cook top. It had the features we needed. My wife loves to cook and she loves this cook top. She loves the large burner for her gumbos and other large pot cooking! The controls in the front center are easy to reach. The tilt up grates make it easy to clean. The included griddle is somewhat small but will make two 6" pancakes easily. The extra burner cap which fits the simmer burner for doing chocolate and delicate sauces is a nice bonus. Love the griddle
Beautiful piece and I love the warming disc and griddle. Pancakes and paninis are evenly made and the design is secure and easy. Knobs are a bit sensitive for front aligned controls, they bump adjust very easily. Recommend Knob covers for toddler chefs. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Nice cooktop
Very nice cooktop by performance and looks. Only feature I wish it had is a thermocouple. When wiping it down we accidentally turned on the gas and did not notice for a few minutes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Questionable benefit
I was sent this Cooktop because the one I ordered continued to be unavailable. The griddle is to small and not really useful. I use griddle which is rectangular and although it is a tight fit, I find it more practicable. The burners are much higher in output that it is impossible to get a slow simmer even using a heat diffuser, so everything is turn on, turn off, rather than slow and steady. I like it!
I'm still getting use to cooking with gas after 36+ years of using electric but I like this stovetop. It's easy to use. I did notice that if I want something to simmer I need to use the middle burner as the others, even on low, tend to be too hot. I love using my griddle too! Hard to clean
This came with my new home. It looks nice, and the burners cook well, but with the controls on the top, they collect every splatter. While the grates lift up nicely, the top has many scratches and it is only a month old. Have some one coming to look at it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Easy install
We replaced a 30 year old (possibly older) 36" cooktop with this new Whirlpool. We were hesitant to attempt the install ourselves. It turned out to be very easy - less an a couple of hours. It's beautiful and really makes a difference in our kitchen. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
