Rated 5 de 5 de par A BIG HELPER Purchased this stand wtih the DWS780 today. I put the stand together, 10 minutes and put the saw on it and love this stand. Do not know how I ever worked without one. Just the righ height for me. Love the stops, how the extend. I build cedar chest and cedar swings, so I cut a lot of boards the same length. This stand will save me 15 to 30 minutes per project. Stand seems to be of good quality. Everything is easy to adjust on it. A little tricky at first getting the saw on and off ot it but I think that has more to do with the bulkness of the saw. Would definitely recommend this stand for anyone who has a miter saw.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Sturdy stand, easy to set up I was looking to buy a cheaper brand but that stand that was not available in the store. So I bought the Dewalt instead. I use it for a Hitachi 12 inch, 15 amp miter saw. The stand sets up out of the box very quickly. The instructions say to use plywood hen mounting a saw not made by Dewalt. However, I found my Hitachi mounted directly to the stand with no problems using the hardware provided. The stand is very sturdy. A minor issue for me is the supports at the end of the beams are still a little short when fully raised to hold work truly level with the surface of my Hitachi. I'll adjust with a wood shim. I am happy with the purchase.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Very solid stand! This is a solid stand. Very easy to set up and take down. The only flaw I have found is that the carry handle is on the bottom and it is the lowest point when the legs are folded in. So to store the stand you have to remove the saw as well as the saw stops on the ends. I don’t know how to make this better though so this gets 5 stars. Just something to be aware of. This is a great stand with this one minor note. This thing extends over 12 1/2 feet and is less than 6ft when retracted. All moving parts are solid with little to no play. The mounting brackets are strong with an easy lock and release mechanism. Get it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 de 5 de par DeWalt Quality When it came time to renovate my basement, I knew I would need to update my old DeWalt 18v tools. My wife gave me clearance to buy every tool I would need. I’ve always been a fan of DeWalt, so it was an easy choice. I loaded up on DeWalt 20v tools and a new miter saw. I’ve been wanting this saw for a while and decided now was the time. I wish I would have bought this years ago. I use it for everything. Superb quality and very easy to use. If you are reading this, just buy it. You will not regret it. Rated 5 de 5 de par Heavy duty, yet surprisingly light weight I'm a handyman professional, and I am hauling tools around with me every day. This is my 3rd saw stand, and unquestionably the best so far. Pros: Strong - able to support heavy materials Long - able to support a broad range of material length Light - easy to haul around to jobsites Details - locking levers and legs work smoothly and reliably without slippage, nice carrying handle Cons: Size - Even when folded, it's almost 6' long. That's the price you pay for a stand which can support 16' long material! I've had smaller stands, but they were heavier than this one, and the arms and supports would slip out of position too easily. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 de 5 de par disappointed Bought the saw stand on Saturday. Looking forward to starting a new framing job on Monday. Unfortunately the end stop support assemblies, which are held to the slide out tubes would not tighten. After inspection the thread in the tube end is spot welded to 1mm sheet metal which just keeps distorting as you tighten the attachment screw. Consequentially you get useless floppy supports and stops. Very disappointed in this DeWalt product.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Versatile addition for a miter saw. Came free with purchase of Dewalt DWS780 miter saw. Great for DIY homeowners who work alone a lot. Supports up to 16ft of lumber. Built in end stops great for same length repetative cuts. Holds a lot of weight and folds up and doesn't take much room to store.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Poor Quality I'm not a contractor, just a home gamer who uses his miter saw 4-5 times per year. I thought having this stand and the miter saw would give me a good setup that I could store away conveniently. This was the case for four years, but the last time I used the saw both of the stand clamps clicked into place and then barfed small metal parts all over the floor. It was really fun to pick all those up, then scratch my head about where they went. Reassembling the clamps did not yield working parts, so I get to replace them. If I was a contractor, I would imagine that this failure would happen within a couple of months of purchase, as I would estimate the number of times I used this setup to be under 20.
