Bought this product 4 days ago. It is cheap mulch masquerading as black earth. Absolutely false labelling. This is without doubt the worst product of this kind I have ever purchased. Not even worth $1.00 let alone $2.88.

Do not purchase
I purchased two bags to test. Glad I only bought two. The absolute worst soil I have purchased in 25 years. I didn't even use it and put it straight into the compost pile. This is basically mulch. If you're absolutely desperate maybe use as an amendment...save your bucks do not buy!

Do not buy this dirt!
I bought this dirt on line and picked it up at the store. A nice young man brought it to the parking lot and loaded it into my SUV. As I drove away the smell from the dirt reached the front seat area. The inside of my vehicle suddenly smelled like the inside of a hog barn. We drove home with the windows rolled down. Once we got home we immediately unloadeb the dirt and spread it beside the garage hopefully that the smell would go away. It did not. My yard now smells like a hog farm. I put a dozen fabric softener sheets inside my vehical to get rid of the smell. We had to wash our cloths once we got home to get that barn yard smell out. I grew up on a cattle and hog farm so this smell is not new to me.
This dirt comes from a field where someone has been spreading waste from hog farm. Rona should not be selling this product.

Purchased this product to put my compost to 'bed' for the winter as well as top up my garden patches, what can I say about dirt...whatever I put into the compost or garden eventually helps to create nutritious vegetables in the future so quality matters. There are shreds of matter within the batches, so not all dirt, more like black mulch.

Disappointing
Very poor soil. The bag I opened contained mostly pieces of wood; it didn't resemble soil at all therefore I returned the unopened bag; in no way did it resemble soil!
