Good washer, Dryer so-so
Have this for almost a year now. The washer is great but the dryer is a bit disappointing. The design for some reason has a tendency to push items to front of dryer and often things just sit on top of the lint trap even when there is a moderate sized load. When dry mattress cover, for some reason keeps getting stuck between drum and the lint trap causing it to jam and stopping the dryer. This happens without fail all the time. Doesn’t matter if I throw other sheets in there to help dislodge. Lint builds up a bit around the bottom of the seal of the door. Not sure if because all th clothes get pushed forward against the door.

Works Great for All Size Loads!
We bought our amazing dryer about a month ago. We have always had an issue drying a particularly older (and VERY heavy) comforter/quilt. In our old dryer it would take 4-6 times to run a cycle to dry it. BUT - in our fantastic Electrolux dryer, it DRIED IN ONE CYCLE!!! I also love the lint filter/basket feature as it self-contains the lint and when you pull it out to empty, the lint doesn't get everywhere. This is very important for us as we have two dogs who shed. The only thing I wish I had thought about was purchasing a stand for the dryer. When you open the door, it is quite low items can fall out of the dryer.

5 months old and already having problems.
We bought the dryer 5 months ago and today it will not start. Everything lights up and I choose the settings. When I press start it beeps and then clicks like it is going to start but nothing happens. The start button just flashes. It is just me and my wife so the dryer does not see hard use. We basically baby it by wiping it down and occasionally vacuuming out the lint area. It still looks brand new. The tech is coming out in 4 days to look at it. I hope this is not a sign of things to come. I love the features and how the clothes come out when done but that does not do me very much good if the unit is going to have electrical issues.

The dryer is hard to work. You have to push the buttons hard, hurting your finger doing so. The special settings like perfect steam, wrinkle release don’t work well IF you can actually get them set without breaking your finger or giving up,out of frustration! Had a few dryers in my time this ine is by far the worst. The Steam cycle is a joke and the wrinkle release doesn’t release anything. Never had such wrinkly clothes come out of a dryer even with Only 3 to 4 items inside. I almost wish I still had the 8 year old set they carted off, it did a better job. So disappointed I sat and cried. I can see selling this set and finding a better product..

Gentle Giant
My new Electrolux drier doesn't take up more laundry room space than my previous one, but it sure is roomier on the inside. It runs quietly and takes its time, alternating warmth and cool air flow to dry clothes gently. I love the light inside the drum after groping around for years checking for that last sock in the dark cavern of my old drier. Also, the big lint filter does a good job of catching all the lint that used to end up outdoors around the drier vent. Drier contents comes out fluffy and dry never limp and slightly damp. Finding new pleasure in an old chore with this excellent laundry combo of Electrolux washer and drier.

Does not dry as well as old machine
Bought last month when old dryer finally quit. Has lots of settings and features. Like the lint filter, huge, but find that clothes (especially small items) tend to pile on top of the wide inlet shelf and do not circulate or dry as well. Door glass that bulges over filter intake would cure the problem. Generally speaking, clothes are not fully dry on all sensor cycles except the heavy towel one or timed cycles. And you can't adjust heat on some of them. Why would you want a $$$ dryer that puts out clothes that have to hang up to finish? Drying times are much longer than expected. Eco friendly must mean pay more for less benefit..

A Little Disappointed
I haven't had the opportunity to use all of the options yet, but so far I am a little disappointed with it. The pros: we have a fairly small space for a stackable washer/dryer, and this (and its matching washer) are the only full-size unit that would fit, so I'm happy about that. I like that the drum is stainless steel. The cons: I think there is a design flaw in the drum--small items (socks, underwear) tend to get stuck in the ledge where the lint trap is and then they don't dry properly. Also, the lint trap is somewhat cumbersome to empty.
If this wasn't the only matching laundry pair that fits in my laundry closet then I would look elsewhere.

Great washer!
I bought this a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. I bought it with its matching dryer which is fantastic as well. The 15 minute wash cycle is great. Our clothes just don't get all that dirty, no small kids or pets, so it does a terrific job in a short amount of time. The removable tray is a plus too. It makes it so easy to keep the detergent compartment clean and dry. If I have only one recommendation its to buy the pedestal with the pair. Without these doors open very low to the floor and the pedestals make loading and emptying a breeze. I can highly recommend this washer to anyone that asks. I believe its the best value in its class and I love it.
