Too smart?
We've had this dryer for a week and so far it's lovely - capacious, nice lint trap design, just enough bells-and-whistles (the little music it plays when a cycle is complete is very pleasant). My only complaint: unless you use the manual setting, there's no way to adjust the temperature on a programmed cycle, ie. it's stuck on Medium when I'd like to use Low. If it were analog I could just spin a dial, but with the touch-button interface it just chirps irritatingly every time I press Temperature... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

It's the little things that make it great
We got this dryer because we already had its companion washer, and our old dryer couldn't handle the increased load size. Finally getting this dryer fixed that, but there are lots of little features that I love too. The lint trap has a little flap that closes behind it when pulling it out so that things don't fall in accidentally. All of the controls are on a panel at the back of the top that keeps them out of my toddler's reach. The door is easy to close yet latches firmly, also keeping my toddler from interfering with the laundry. We practically had to slam our old one to keep it shut. It's stable once leveled and dries like a champ. We're very happy with it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Never knew a dryer could be so quiet!
Other than purchasing the matching washer, what intrigued me about this dryer is the size of the door opening. As compared to the tried and true Whirlpool Brand that I had, bending over to reach in is a challenge. This dryer is about 50% less noisy than my old dryer. The old one I had to close the laundry room door but with this one the door can remain open.
If there are any CONS I would say it is the pre-programmed selection. The Normal setting uses MED heat level and starts with air drying by enabling the Energy Saving feature. However it will take forever to dry. At the Normal setting you cannot got to HIGH heat so I use the Heavy setting. It defaults to high heat and Energy Saving is disabled. Another would be that the Wrinkle Guard would default to be on for most of the dry cycles. Some other brands do have this feature and it is nice to have on all the time. Fantastic dryer - very highly rated & worth it
I searched all over for a dryer that would fit a small space. I did not want to get a compact dryer and compromise on size. I checked Consumer Reports and this dryer met all of my criteria and was very highly rated. Have been very happy with it so far. This is a very efficient dryer. And very quiet. BIG Load
I'm very happy with the dryer. I can put in 3 loads and it only takes an hr. to dry all that. The only thing I don't like about it is the door- It swings open the wrong way. Does anybody know if the door could be switched from one side to the other? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
