Scie emporte-pièce 1/2 po est évalué 4.5 de 5 de 24.
Rated 4 de 5 de par Good but could be better. I bought this bit to drill four holes into the tile back splash to install my new microwave. It worked fine and I would advise to use water to keep cool. My only complaint is not having a center pin or bit to help get it started and keep it align. You have to tilt your drill to get it started and requires a lot of effort to keep it in the right place. I understand that a bit would be hard to add to such a small hole saw. But still it would have made for a cleaner hole. Also not keeping it cool will kill the life of this hole saw. It is very expensive so keep a cup of water to dip it in as you are using it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 de 5 de par Worked great I had to drill through 5/16" ceramic tile to mount shower doors. I tried other bits that did not work at all. I went to Lowes and purchased this one and it cut 8 holes and was still cutting well. I have to install one more shower door downstairs and I dont believe it would have problems cutting those holes either. On the Lenox website, there was a review that stated they had a small cup of WD-40 that they dipped their bit in every minute or so to remove the residue, cool down the bit, and lubricate the cut. I did this and it has plenty of life left. The other thing is to not put to much force behind the drill. I used the weight of my hand and let it cut its way through. It did take about 3-4 minutes per hole to cut through the tile. Holes were perfectly round, no cracking or chipping. I would recommend this without hesitation

Rated 5 de 5 de par Worked for Granite I am a beginner DIY and bought this to drill my 1st hole on a granite slab in kitchen. It worked very well and made a perfect hole. Started the drill by tilting 45 degrees and gradually moved to 90 degress with frequent watering to reduce heat. Overall it took an hour but end result was perfect hole.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Huge disappointment I purchased this drill in a 3/8-in diameter and it drilled the first two of three horizontal holes through porcelain tile very nicely using a slow speed cordless drill and water lube. On the third hole the drill went totally dull. According to the net, diamond drills should last far, far longer (up to 350 holes). I'll try another brand next time.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Did what I needed it to do. Purchased this to drill holes in wine bottles. Did a excellent job

Rated 1 de 5 de par Good for 1 Hole in hard tile. Only lasted 2 holes on 3/8 pocelain tile. 1st hole took about 1 minute. 2nd hole about 5 minute. Lubricant during process. Cut 2 of the 4 holes I needed. Not designed to last unless it was meant to be used once and thrown away. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 de 5 de par Worked to cut porcelain tile. I drilled same size hole in a piece of wood with a wood bit then poured water on the hole and positioned it just where I wanted the hole on the porcelain tile. If you need several overlapping holes don't go all the way through until the last one that way water lubercated the diamond bit and you only have a little thickness left with not enough water. One bit can drill many sizes and shapes of holes. If you have an angle grinder with a diamond blade this bit can do the end of the notch for pipes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 de 5 de par Drilling into Granite Used this bit to drill a hole into a Granite countertop in order to install an under sink water fountain. Letting the drill do the work and pausing about every ten seconds to allow the bit to stay cool and periodically cleaning with water, the drilling took a long time. It worked but if I need to do it again, I’ll look for a different style bit. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
