Rated 5 de 5 de par No more weeding of the driveway We have a concrete driveway in which there are multiple cracks that are filled with weeds. It takes considerable time to pull out the weeds and all of these cracks as many of them go straight down into dirt. Even though it takes some time to pull out those weeds it is well worth the effort. Having seen a similar product on Pinterest, I found this product to do exactly what I needed it to. I bought the contract or sized filler and begin filling in all the cracks where weeds have grown. It's been a little over a month; no weeds, no shrinkage, no pulling up or smearing of product when I drove over cracks. I also left the product in the sun for about 10 minutes to soften it up. It's much easier on the hands than constantly gripping and pumping.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Great driveway sealant I used this product over the weekend to seal up some cracks in my girlfriend's driveway. I bought three 29 oz. tubes from the local Lowe's and also bought three 29 oz tubes of Vulkem to compare it to. Both worked well, and I think most people would be happy with either. While the Vulkem was priced a bit lower, I liked the Sikaflex better for a couple reasons. First, it seemed to flow a bit smoother and level itself better than the Vulkem. It also dried faster as well. I did the work on Saturday morning and on Sunday afternoon the Sikaflex felt dry and firm to the touch, while the Vulkem felt somewhat tacky, although it did feel firm. Time will tell how each one holds up, and I think the differences are going to be small, but overall I think this a slightly better product and will choose this when it comes time to do my own driveway.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Decent prdict I applied this to my driveway in a Saturday morning. Was able to drive on it without hesitation Sunday afternoon. Sets up to non tacky in couple hours but would not drive on. Hardens as drys. Time will tell w/ durability. Self leveling is great. Clean and not lumpy. Added backer rod to fill medium size gaps to prevent me from going back to store for more. Had few problems w/ caulking coming out bottom of canister but would give a 4 of 5 stars because of that reason alone.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Concrete Driveway Joints Joints were a mess. Filled "V" shaped joints to about 3/4" of concrete surface with sand first. I did this to fill large voids that Sika would flow forever into. Then I ran a shallow 1/4" bead to insure no sink holes existed (added a little sand if they did). Then ran full bead to just below surface. Self levels as you run the bead. If you add too little, just add a little more. If you add too much, just wait a few seconds and it lowers itself by flowing a bit. This is really a great product for ease of use and because it is rubberized which compensates for concrete movement in hot and cold weather. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 de 5 de par driveway expansion joints This leaves it looking like the joints you see in commercial buildings where joints were cut and filled with a soft, flexible, durable joint filler. I wish i had known about this stuff years ago I've batteled weeds growing and dirt collecting in my expansion joints hopefully this is the fix. When you open the tube get ready this stuff will not stop coming out, i put my finger over the end until i found a quart gear lube bottle cap, works great! Make sure you install backer rod if the joints are deep it self levels and will run to the lowest point.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Excellent product I purchased a bunch of these tubes to fill the expansion joints and a couple of cracks in my driveway. This was a great product. Are used backer rod for any of my street cracks and sand for any of the abnormal cracks as a filler to meet manufacturers specifications. After application, I sprinkled some sand on top to help blend in with my existing driveway. The project turned out great. I would recommend making sure you only fill up to about 1/8 of an inch below surface level because if you get too close there will be a small tripping hazard after the sand topping. Photo below is prior to me dealing with a brown tinted driveway sealer, which made it blend in even better. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 de 5 de par Awesome stuff The description used elsewhere of having the consistency of pancake batter is spot on. A couple things. It helps to be very steady handed. Any Sika that get where you do not want it, well, it stays. You MUST quit squeezing the trigger of the caulking gun several inches before you plan to stop.....as it will keep flowing and then start dripping....not good. I found it helpful to keep a paper towel handy to cover the end quickly upon moving it out of the driveway joint. My sense is on warmer days it flows even easier. I did not fill the joints to the top, so i could drive over them immediatedly. I also drizzled sand on the wet caulk but decided i like it better, looked cleaner, without the sand. Dirt will find it so must be very careful to blow all loose dirt off the area first. I tended to run a bead down both sides of the joint to make sure i had contact with cement on both sides and then went back and filled in. I thought about cutting tip so a bigger bead would come out to begin with....but found that a bit scary. I believe they recommend mineral spirits for cleanup.....good idea. Does not wipe off, wash off or respond to hand cleaner products. Start in some less conspicuous spot to get experience with Sika. Great product.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Problem solved with this product Excellent results from your Sikaflex+. After making sure I had a solid base, applied 1/2" and it leveled perfectly on my 15 ft of sidewalk. Very professional looking, I will buy this product in the future and strongly recommend it to others. Good product for the DIY homeowner! Thanks, Joe.
