DID NOT STICK!
Took 3 hours to mask my whole house and when I was ready to paint, all the tape and masking was already starting to fall off the walls. It wouldn’t stick at all.

The tape Ripped ALL paint off wall
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Spent the extra money to get the really good frog tape for fresh paint. Then STOPPED using the no name stuff that was working fine to try this new high end tape. And I kid you not, this frog tape striped the wall right down the drywall! Adding atleast another days work to the job, I now have to sand and chip the flakes off, possibly fill the sand the holes, prime the drywall and then retape and repaint, all on part of the job that was finished!
Super unhappy with this tape, especially considering it's one of the most expensive on the market .

Great product
I use FrogTape frequently. It is great for delicate surfaces. I use it in my art work and I have never been disappointed. Like all tape, it will pull off some surface if it left on too long -which I found out when I left it on the closet walls for several months!

Very disappointed!
I purchase the yellow delicate surfaces painters tape because I just freshly painted my walls and was taping off the walls to paint the ceiling after letting the walls dry for several days. This tape would not stick to the walls at all! It would fall off of it's own weight and would barely even stick upon initial application. I am very dissatisfied with this tape and will most likely never buying it again. I wasted my money

Worked for me!
I almost didn't buy this stuff due to the negative reviews, but gave it a shot and it worked just fine.
I wanted the ceiling one color and the walls a second color. I painted the ceiling first with two coats of latex. I waited 48 hours, then applied the tape over the freshly painted ceiling. I then trimmed in my latex wall coat right up to the edge of the tape. I let that dry just long enough to apply a second trim coat. As soon as I was done with coat number 2, I removed the tape while the wall paint was still wet and was left with a nice clean line. The tape removed easily and didn't pull down any of the new paint it was adhered to so it worked as it should. The only negative I can find is that I wish the tape was a little more flexible to make it easier to apply to edges that are not perfectly straight, but this is a minor point.
I think people that have trouble with this tape aren't using it properly. The key is to remove the tape as soon as possible once you've cut in your edge. Get the job painted and get the tape off ASAP and it will work fine. I'll use this stuff again.

Frogtape lives up to it's advertisements!!!
I though tape was tape and that I would be covering flaws were the tape didn't do it's job. What a surprise I had when I removed the FROGTAPE that I had around the white window casing in the room I was painting. The walls are a teal color and I admit I slopped paint on the tape. I was ready to have to do some major touch ups. FROGTAPE lived up to it's advertisements. FROGTAPE easy to put on, easy to remove and leave clean, crisp lines. FROGTAPE will be the only tape I use when I have to paint.

This product was great to work with.
We wanted to paint a spare bedroom but did not want to remove the existing wallpaper border that was around the perimeter of the room at the ceiling (about a 3- 1/2 inch border). We were using the same color paint as well. After reading online about the use of the delicate Frog tape, we decided to purchase for this project. My husband used the tape for sealing the border, the window and door moldings. Painted the walls and then removed the Frog tape (yellow for delicate). He loved working with this product and there was not any leakage of the paint onto the moldings or the wall border. He did remove it immediately after painting. We are very pleased with this product and let the company we purchased this from aware of it and we wanted others on this site to know as well. Thank you!

wonderful results
I was doing several different layouts, and due to my eagerness only allowed a couple of hours in between each paint color. The FrogTape, delicate surface tape was able to keep up with me. Granted I was in a hurry and really didn't want to wait, people kept telling me to let the paint cure.
A few hours, to me was long enough. The delicate surface was true to it's word and did not remove any fresh paint. I absolutely love it. Currently my paint closet has 7 different rolls of frogtape. My only request, I would love to have a thinner roll, in order to make it look like pinstriping. Wouldn't that be awesome?

Extremely Disappointed - Ruined Kitchen Cabinets
I purchased the delicate Frog Tape after it was recommended to me by my local paint store. I used the tape to paint my kitchen, which required applying the tape directly to the cabinets. Even though the delicate tape specifically says it can be used on veneer, it ripped several chunks of the cabinet right off. Extremely frustrated and disappointed - I will now have to spend several hundred dollars replacing the cabinet sides. NOT HAPPY!

This product saved my project!
I used this product when I created a scallop wall design in my daughter's nursery. When I removed the stencil, part of the wall came with it on the top side. I only had a few days left to finish the project and couldn't wait for the paint to cure. I used the delicate surface over the fresh stencil to protect it so I could repair the wall above it. It worked like a charm! Once I patched up the areas I needed to, the yellow tape peeled right off without disturbing the paint. I was amazed and very pleased. Frog Tape for delicate surfaces provides great coverage while protecting the surface underneath.

Excellent on freshly painted surface!
I just use the Delicate Surface version of FrogTape on a project that required masking on freshly painted surface. It worked great. I was so nervous about it peeling off my new paint when I peeled off the tape. It didn't. All it did was give me impressive clean, sharp lines. I was very impressed with the results. I let the first paint color dry overnight before masking for the second color. I put three coats of the second color without peeling the tape off in between drying times. I removed the tape after when the 3rd coat was wet and it came off clean without any peeling of the first color. Thank you FrogTape for a great product!

Have you ever considered making your tape products in larger sizes for the “crafters”? I have used your tape with my Cricut to cut shapes and letters for painted craft projects.......it would make the task much easier if Frog Tape would come in sheets.....instead of just on a roll.

Awesome Yellow
I usually use the green but I had a delicate area and I used the yellow. Worked awesome. No bleeding and a key is to take the tape off at a 45 degree angle and soon after you finish. Do not wait for it to completely dry

Cant believe Ive wasted my money!
After all the ads in TV and everywhere in the shop i tough Ill give it a try. In house we recently bought I painted all rooms and few weeks later I decided to paint windows. As I wanted to protect already painted walls I went to hardware store and they recommended me your tape. I bought 4 of them for 40 EUR hoping this will do my job! After I used your tape and painted Window I took tape off and loads paint pulled of my nicely painted solid wall!!! I follow all your instructions and Im very disappointed. I was going to email you, but there is no email address only on line form where I cant attached any pictures.
All I can say and recommend to anyone, any cheap tape even from Lidl will do minimum same job if not better!!!!!!

Excellent Product
I used the Yellow Delicate tape for a project I am working on that needs really clean lines. I had heard about this tape a few years ago, but hadn't needed to use it until now. I am absolutely amazed at the results. It really is the best tape I've ever used. My lines were so perfectly clean!
Now, if you could just make a stencil spray out of the same adhesive, I'd be in a painter's heaven!!

Best art tape!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use hundreds of feet of tape when creating my art work. The delicate surface tape is by far the best tape I’ve come across. I can produce clean edges with no bleeds and mask on top of freshly dried paint as soon as it’s dry, without worrying about peeling it up.

Don't listen to the negative reviews. I used Frog tape delicate on 7 different cut in for color change. 4 of those cuts were ceiling to wall and the other wall to wall. I used Sherman Williams latex paint that was applied 18 hours prior for the surface to accept the tape. I was worried on the first wall so I did the easiest to fix first just in case. Put it on, cut in the areas and then a second coat and took the tape off immediately after the second coat. Crisp clean lines, didn't damage the fresh paint in the least. I am a believer and will be using this again! Great product. Just read and follow the instructions.

Horrible product
I purchased from tape delicate surfaces to use on my newly painted ceiling to make sure that I have straight tight lines on my painted walls. I painted the ceilings and allowed to dry for 48 hours. I taped the ceiling, painted and allowed the paint to dry for a day then removed the tape. The tape pulled the ceiling paint off. No I have missing paint from my ceiling. I will never use Frog Tape every again for any painting use. It is the worst product I have ever used.
Now I have to figure out how to fix my ceiling to make look clean and neat. DO NOT USE!!!!!

I purchased Frogtape Delicate Surface hoping it would help to make my project great. I couldn't have been further from wrong. It ruined my project to the point I will need to strip it down and restart.
I tested the frogtape in a hidden area and at first all seemed good. I taped off the areas I needed to cover and applied my second color. After a short dry time of about 45 minutes I removed the Frogtape to find the surface of the previously spray painted surface underneath ruined.
I will never purchase Frogtape again !!!

Absolutely terible
Masked up coving to paint the final coat on wall, when I removed the tape it has removed all white paint on coving. Not happy!! Absolutely furious. If I could leave less than one star I would!! Do not use and ruin your painting!!

Not happy at all with this product....do not use!!
I chose Frog tape delicate, because I am doing a complete kitchen renovation and wanted my new paint lines to be perfect. Well, the paint lines were perfect, until I removed the frog tape the next day....it pulled off chunks of the paint of the surface I had painted. It did not remove cleanly and if I had an area where I had gotten paint on the tape, it pulled the paint off the painted surface. I was VERY disappointed. I will go back to using a different brand in the future. So I had to go back, touch up the areas where it pulled off the paint, and of course, I had to paint a 3rd and 4th coat on those surfaces. So besides a lot of tears, I spent an additional 3 hours touching up and repainting.

Watercolor artist uses it for paintings
I have been using Frog Tape for some time when my watercolor paintings require straight edges. For instance when I paint a building, I will mask it out and put in the sky with a nice flowing method, without having to be careful of the intersection with the building. Also when painting a railing with vertical pickets or a picket fence, I cut strips and mask off the pickets to get a consistent background behind. It is very gentle with the finish on my watercolor paper, which is important if you want to overpaint the area that was taped off.
I would like to see narrower widths, 1/2 inch or even 1/4, so you get the sealing edge, you don't get when you cut strips.

WASTE OF TIME
I used this whilst decorating my sons room & i was more than disappointed. It bled through on almost every inch & took off paint.
It took me hours to go over every single line with a fine paintbrush touching up all the bleeds. I have had better results using cheap masking tape.
Save your money & buy a roll of ordinary stuff for £1 - you'll save both time & money.

Awesome product when doing trim work around freshly painted walls
Upon moving into a new house we decided to do a little refresh on the paint and also paint the wood trim white to give it a more updated look. I painted the walls first and then started the trim work but quickly found out that the green and blue tape caused some of the new paint to come off when I removed the tape. I thought I would give the delicate surface FrogTape (the yellow one) a shot and I was ecstatic to see that it worked perfectly: there was no bleed through and it pulled off with zero damage to the wall surface. I am now a big fan of FrogTape and I'll 'leap' for it on my next project!

Pulled Paint Off Wall Underneath Tape!
Wow, I was shocked. I used the FrogTape Delicate Surface because it was going over a freshly painted wall that was already cured for a few days and completely dry to the touch. Low and behold, when I removed the tape after 48 hours, just like you are supposed to (slow and at a 45 degree angle), the blue strip I painted did in fact stay on the wall but the white eggshell paint beneath the tape peeled off! I have the pictures to show it! Now I need to go back and paint all those areas, cutting in to my blue stripe! SAD

Stupendous Stripes
I used the Delicate Surface Frog Tape to create stripes in a bedroom. The result was outstanding. Crisp clean lines with very little bleed.
In any area with slight bleed - and I mean slight - I just went back in and touched it up. Not because it was necessary but more because I'm a bit of a perfectionist.
While I debated buying the Delicate Surface tape because it was slightly more expensive than the traditional "green" Frog Tape I'm sure glad I spent the few extra bucks. I was able to apply the tape to the walls just hours after the paint dried. This kept my project moving along without long lag times.
Without a doubt, Frog Tape will be my tape of choice going forward with more projects.

Heart broken
Used the low adhesion tape to do a mural wall in my unborn sons bedroom. I spent days cleaning, painting and taping following the recommendations diligently all for the tape to peal the bottom layer of paint off despite being very gentel during removal. Heavily pregnant and now going to have to redecorate again and as you can understand with a little one on the way it's an expense I can't afford without considering the physical struggle. Disappointed with frogtape to say the least.
